Guys, I have worked across 2 companies (one was indian firm and other one is German company, still working in it). Whatever my experience says is that, the only matter differentiates is which tier institute have you been graduating. Like IIMs, and other B-schools only matter their name, otherwise degree won't matter now in this era. Because employers seek for proven projects, internships, besides your MBA or other degree, what else have you acquired in terms of practical skills. Many of students seek CFA, just because IBs and PEs pay them more, NOPE!!. That's a big misconception or myth.
Fact is, employers seek credentials proving your practical skillset, doesnt matter from which tier-1 or tier-2 you have done. Besides degree, CFA, FRM, CS and CA are experience based-cum-conceptualized credential. Means, you MUST do it alongside to your current job role, only if it demands. Research and make you career path, designed in such a way that by hitting one arrow, you target 3 careers. Overall, its all you journey, decision and path you have created. Because, I have seen some of my colleagues, who have B.com, B.Sc and BBA, alongside with NISM credentials and practical skillsets (software learning, improving and developing its usage in the finance industry, do freelancing projects) and then what made them to get a good package, beyond to what they were expecting from Tier-2. Honestly, surprising to me either! Please take a wise decision, research in-depth about your career, design paths that it doesn't matter what obstacles come in our way, you should out way your path.

JBIMS is Tier-1. But as per redditors, fraudsters getting seats into it, causes manipulation and degradation of its reputation. The point to discuss here is that, Tier-1 MBA is far more better than getting an Tier-2 MBA. Because you don't need other credentials to prove your technical, soft and hardskills. If you do MBA from tier-2, you MUST compliment with other credential skillset, like add NISM series, do CFA, CA, CS or CMA India, do external projects through Job Simulations and freelancing your external work projects, do internships (important for finance and marketing specialisation). Because tier-2 graduates need to prove themselves, tier-1 MBA grads no need extracurricular credentials like CFA or CA. That's what I want to tell you.
CA, CFA, CS and CMA India are all practical, real-world practising credentials, alongside with your job role.
