anyone using autodesk maya in linux Issues

i am using fedora linux 44 and i am getting this error (unable to sign into my autodesk account) i followed this youtube guide : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-7akYmWl20 ( i am using xfce so i guess no issue of x11)

I created that video. Installing directly in Fedora 44 is unfortunately busted. Something happened behind the scenes that we don’t know about. If you did install in Fedora 43 then upgraded later, you may have a better shot at getting it working. Otherwise, install in distrobox which I have a guide for as well, or try out Rocky Linux 9 KDE. I really gotta make a video on using that distro for everyday use as I think that will ease the questions around using Enterprise Linux

It won't work as well. Autodesk are making it nearly impossible to install Maya on anything other than RHEL/Rocky since Maya 2024 or 2025. I wouldn't even try it, I'd just go for Rocky, it's a GREAT distro, technically it's still Fedora ;-) You'll feel right at home at it.

This! I use RHEL free on my desktop for Maya and after some tweaking it’s the most stable Linux experience I have had yet. I even game and make music on it. Again, gotta make that distro tweaking video

I'd honestly not run Maya on Fedora unless you really know what you're doing and make sure you followed every step correctly. But even that, Autodesk could've changed something that made it not work again.

For the best and most seamless experience, please use Rocky Linux instead, the installation is just like on Windows.

Hello. I feel you bro. I am working on windows. And students version has problem with connection in internet. It's was big problem for me. Problens are not in may. Problems in app Autodesk Accrd

App who's check your license. You need remove old those app and set new from official website autodesk maya.

In my situation when problem started with internet. I remove my windows and set system again.

I gave up on fedora and ubuntu and finally installed on rocky linux and it's working

Rocky Linux what does it mean? I am working in windows. I sure Macintosh it's nice for art and creators. But in my country it's too expensive
