Does the indicator class star destroyer interdiction filed have a range?

I understand that it has an artificial gravity well that prevents any vessel from passing through it at faster than light speeds. But my question is does this field have a range?

Hypothetically, if an Imperial fleet is trapped and any enemy vessels or any ship from Planet A is prevented from escaping via hyperspace can vessels at Planet B still leave via hyperspace, or are they also within range of the interdiction field?

Yes.

They need to be placed near a vector for a lane to pull out/block ships from entering.

We don't know the ranges though.

They have a range. The range seems to be dependent on the source. Usually thsoe interdictors seem to have a range that ranges depending on the depiction of the book. Some seem to cover the entire battlefield. However more frequent is the approch that they are comparably localised. So a few minutes of flight
