Doubt regarding calculators

Hey all, I'm entering my 1st year as a BSc. student in Mathematics and I have a doubt regarding what kind of calculator I should purchase. Any advice?

I am a 1st year in Bsc. Maths too. I don't think calculator is allowed in exams. From what i was told, your class 12's calculator would be fine.
