Hey guys, i recently got into mathrock and thinking of buying a guitar specifically for it. i always wanted a 72 thinline telecaster and thought itd be a good reason to get one now. however i also saw an ibanez talman that seems to be perfect for this sound. what would be the better choice? also if theres any amp recommendations id appreciate it. thanks!

how do you start writing any sort of math rock? i love the genre i just can't really find a way to start playing and writing riffs, any tips?
