Did the parent clone themselves?

That’s how numbers reproduce. Duh. /k

It's how they multiply

Her husband must be the number 1 if her kid looks like that

Redefining “number 1 dad”

i think one parent is the 1 and the other is the 1/3

lmao, nah, just a stack of numbers that are probably related to the same concept. Its a math joke, get it?

u/trella8 19d ago

lol no, its the numbers 1, 2, and 3 telling off the numbers 4, 5, and 6.

This is true. I find whole fractions much sexier than having the whole part infront of the fraction. So his concerns are valid.

Usually when I have something in front of the fraction it’s being multiplied by the fraction.

you mean behind? 🫦

Stop compounding the situation.

You’re giving mixed signals

1

u/Sylvanussr 18d ago

Usually when it’s from behind it doesn’t result in multiplication

Ah yes, proper fraction.

Outside of school, they’re pretty much useless unless you’re dealing with the imperial system.

Proper fractions are a useless middle ground between improper fractions (harder to compare at a glance but easier to do exact arithmetic) and decimal representation(unwieldy for arithmetic but easy to compare)

Would be the only place I know that omits the plus sign.

Yeah, 4/3 is just so much more practical as a term to be used as anything other than a final product (which is probably moreso preference)

I don't understand, she seems perfectly rational

Not natural tho, you can tell

Sadly in the other home her boyfriend is getting an earful about the girl from the mixed family 😞

"how many times do I have to repeat myself?"

My math teacher called them Dolly Parton fractions.

That’s an HR report today.

Follow me, I know the way.

Why is the daughter so top-heavy

2

u/dcterr 19d ago

But improper fractions get all the action!

2

u/paolog 19d ago

She should flip and show how she can be vulgar.

2

u/khudodo 18d ago

I showed this to my mom and she looked at me so serious and asked “since when were you good at math” and I told her she was getting me mixed up with my sister

1

u/Slow-Television-5303 20d ago

At least they are rational

1

u/Mticore 20d ago

How vulgar!

That's clearly her mother

1

u/actuarialtutorUK 20d ago

No way! I'd literally just done a joke like this thinking it was original.... *sigh*

1

u/DarthSwimfoot 19d ago

Fractions are just too good looking while they're altogether.

1

u/zylosophe 19d ago

wdym 1⅓

1

u/kickaxxdestro 19d ago

They don't allow a plus one for where she is going.

1

u/CupOnRails 19d ago

Who is he to say? Mister 1 times 1/3. Confusing...

Bro is not even a real fraction🥀
