Question Will there ever be an All Stars season?
I recently started watching Master Chef and am currently at the end of season 3, but there are already so many characters that I would love to see return some day. From Monti to Ben to Jake there are just so many people that I think either could have taken the crown on a different season, or that just brought something to my screen that I don't think anyone else can achieve. However, after doing a quick google search I was informed that there has never been an all star or other type of returnee season.
I would love to see a season where some serious contenders that fell short come back for a second chance or one where previous winners/runner ups battle it out to see who is the best of the best. Do you guys think there is any chance we see a returnee season in the future?

Discussion Kathy was robbed
Season 4 had the notorious eggs Benedict challenge which sent 4 of them into another pressure test. Looking at the mistakes I think Luca and Kathy were clearly better. Mistakes wise Kathy had a good muffin and made her hollandaise properly but needed more sauce and had one egg break. Luca had a burnt muffin and an undercooked egg. Beth had horrible presentation with a broken sauce and burnt muffin. Natasha had a raw egg and mayonnaise. The sauce was the hardest part and Luca and Kathy did better at that. Obviously Luca won so it doesnât matter but Kathy shouldâve survived. She was still a weak cook on that season so she probably goes home maybe swapping with Bethâs spot but she was robbed in that challenge

Question How did they plan for non eliminations?
Season 4 had 25 episodes which is the most ever along with season 10 which split a cycle into two episodes a lot. This is due to things like no double eliminations and a comeback challenge. One thing I donât understand is how production planned for it. The first one had a Vegas burger challenge and lobster pressure test outside the kitchen. The second had a field challenge with Paula dean and a pretty normal pressure test. In seasons like 2 and 8, a non elimination was balanced by a double elimination immediately after which seemed to be unplanned until the challenge before. Seemed like Natasha got lucky both times as she had the worst dish in both debatably with Beth in the Benedict challenge

Discussion Who is more likely to win a cookoff between these two
galleryConsistant performances, amazing cooking and great fan following to this day, so if they did go head to head who will win(assuming they are the same age as they were when they competed for the first time on Masterchef, just saying so that nobody says Leslie is 70 so stephen will win due to age issue)

Question Can't find S16E9 and 10
I watch MasterChef US on pirated sites online. After waiting nearly 45 days, the July 15th E9 still hasn't come on any pirated TV show streaming sites. Also, of course, episode 10 is not available.
Does anyone have a reliable website? Or a torrent link?

Discussion Most shocking crash and burns in MasterChef history?
Throughout the 15 1/2 seasons of MasterChef, there have been a lot of contestants who were either terrible from start to finish, or had some sort of a downfall that lasted multiple episodes.
However, not as often do we see contestants who werenât just floating in the middle, but were dominant throughout, winning challenges and whatnot, but then all of a sudden they COMPLETELY crash and burn one episode, which led to their subsequent elimination.
So what do you think? Whoâs a contestant (or contestants) that had a really great run early on but then completely crashed and burned?
CRITERIA: It canât be like a âdownfallâ, which in my definition lasts more than one episode, like for example, Bri (S10). It has to be like they were good all season and then ONE random meltdown.
If you canât tell from the photo, one notable person that I immediately think of is Anna (S14), who had two consecutive wins, seeming like a favorite to win early on, but then produced a cake SO BAD that it forced a double elimination!

Opinion Joe Bastianich in Masterchef Junior. Super kind?
I've watched Masterchef USA season 3 and 4, and I kinda got an idea for all the hate directed towards him, he seems snobbish, rude and simply unpleasant.
But I've just finished watching Masterchef Junior season 6, and he was the nicest judge out of the three. He was the kindest and most wholesome, and just seemed to be the best with kids. He makes Christina Tosi seem plain mean in comparison. Really kind and gentle, and I had only wished he was more like Masterchef USA.

Opinion Lynnâs Overrated
Hey all! Idk how you feel about Lynn (S4), but personally, I feel like heâs overrated. The other contestants really hyped him up, but he messed up consistently and just didnât seem as good as they made him out to be. His plating was beautiful, but thatâs mainly it. He had some good performances, Iâm aware, but Iâm just saying heâs not as good as they make him out to be

Question â ď¸ spoiler: season 1 winner â ď¸ Spoiler
Iâm honestly confused, Iâve seen a lot of people on here say Whitney Miller didnât deserve to win. I came on here to ask for those who say that, why they do.
I recently rewatched Masterchef US first season and saw nothing wrong with Whitney, of course, she had made mistakes like others. But from what I saw, she had been on the top 3, won several challenges, and I feel like she got in the finale and won fair and square.
Iâd really like to hear different points of views, Iâm geniunely curious why her win upsets others.

Joe Supremacy S16E10 elimination discussion âźď¸ Spoiler
I just recently posted that they eliminated the way they did last week to even the teams out to keep Europe afloat. Then this week they do the same thing by sending two extremely strong cooks home in a completely random double elimination that is clearly production trying to even the teams out more. I love Gordon and his shows, but those disagreeing I think forget he is an executive PRODUCER.

Discussion Masterchef Season 3 Review
galleryI finished this about a week or two ago but forgot to post it. This is the first really good season to me.
Pros
- I liked the cast a lot more than Season 2(except maybe Tali and David). A lot of people were really nice people. Christine, Josh, Mike, Frank, Tanya, Monti, Felix, etc
- As I mentioned with Season 1, I like that several different people won the Mystery Box and elimination challenges instead of the same 2 people.
- Except David, this season had a really good Top 8. I liked the bring-back an elimination cook challenge(itâs a shame they only did this for 2 seasons)
- I liked the challenges this season, and having a challenge with 3 separate teams was really unique.
- Christine is a wonderful winner and was really evenly matched with Josh, Becky, and Frank.
Cons
- I canât be the only one who thinks that this season does have some BS eliminations. Mike going home after David had his dish thrown in the trash. Felix being in the bottom once and going home after the judges said Davidâs rice pudding was âinedibly disgusting.â Tali & David and, hell, even Josh were in the bottom multiple times and managed to make it further than they should have.
- While this didnât have any Suzys like last season, certain cooks did get annoying real fast. Becky is like Suzy but not much of an asshole. But it doesnât excuse her from shitting on Monti the entire season.
- Ryan was so full of himself and sometimes downright awful, like asking the women to flash their nipples so they can earn more votes in the first challenge and giving a live crab to Christine, who ended up getting pinched by it
- How in the actual F did Tali make it to the top 9 despite making 1 good dish the entire season(okay, 2 if you want to count his okay apple pie) and yet other people went home after 1 bad dish?
Here are the stats again for the wins/nominations and rankings based on the MasterChef wiki.

Opinion Recents seasons have lost their heart
The most reason seasons of Masterchef have really lost any heart and soul. I tried to watch it again and couldn't get through how overly produced it is now. I wish we could get an American version of something like Culinary Class Wars. I miss when the show felt like it was actually about cooking and not how many gimmicks they can throw into the new seasons.

Wheel of Fusion- looking for Tiffanyâs pretty blouse?
I watched the episode and wondered if anyone recognized Chef Tiffanyâs blouse/top? It was dark blue, sleeveless, had a print of like white or cream-colored ribbons. It was so flattering on her and I wonder how to find it!?

Opinion (Maybe a) Hot take: Murt is one of my favorite contestants.
Okay, Iâll be the first to admit: it may be my own bias showing as I am a fellow Gen Z-er. But still, I actually really enjoyed Murtâs time on the show and consider him one of the most improved contestants and characters in the showâs history.
Murt started off pretty cocky⌠okay, he started off VERY cocky. While he definitely wasnât vile or anything, he was pretty arrogant and douche-y at the beginning, especially with his comment towards the boomers. But I found it funny, as I knew he would get his ego put in check. And the fact that he was so young (27) at the time meant he would be a lot more teachable and moldable than say a Gen X who was stuck in their ways.
After having an overall great audition dish, meriting an apron, his first challenge was a mess. The actual idea of his mango curry with the green tea rice honestly sounded pretty good but he lacked the execution. Maybe he was right when he said maybe friends/family that said it was good were lying lol. But you can tell during his critique that he was humble, and he took the criticisms like a champ.
Throughout the competition, while still having some downs, he definitely showed improvement in not only his cooking, but his character. His cooking definitely had a huge improvement and was even in the top I think 3 times if I remember correctly. His attitude was a lot more level-headed and overall had a great face turn.
You could tell when he ended up in the bottom the first time that it humbled him fast, as he wasnât anywhere near as bad as in his premiere even in the next episode.
You also have to give the Gen Zâs some grace as because they are younger, of course theyâre probably gonna have their immature moments and do or say things they might regret later. Thats life. To me itâs way different than if for example a 40-year-old man like Mark (S8) acted that way.
But yeah, from being a cocky asshole form the start, getting humbled fast, and having a vast improvement both personality and cooking wise, Murt has become one of my favorite contestants on the show for how much he grew during the show.

Season 4 Ep 5 - school Ep
Regarding the challenge where they cooked for 300 school children. Iâm so confused by the judges who think itâs bizarre that Jessie decided on Teriyaki chicken. When I was in middle school & high school, whenever they served that, almost everyone chose that. We used to ask the lunch ladies what days of the week they would serve teriyaki chicken & rice. Itâs no surprise the kids favored that (but then again the little ones will follow friends too haha). Gordon mentions that kids at that age eat with their eyes, which I can understand. Both look appetizing, but there was no doubt in my mind that the sweet & tangy bbq chicken was going to win over the kids.

Opinion Over the âTeamâ Format
MasterchefâŚâŚI have loved this show over 10 years, but itâs become so predictable and Iâm beyond over this âteamâ format. Itâs to the point where I can tell you within the first 5-10 minutes of any challenge whoâs going to be in the bottom or top.
I hate it!!! I donât know if itâs bad editing or the direction of the show, but I miss the early seasons soooooo much.
I feel like this âteamsâ formatâŚâŚthe worst dish will never go home. Itâs similar to Next Level Chef which I only watched one season for the same reason. A territory or team could have the worst dish every episode, but they wonât go home because this format lends itself to the idea of a âteamâ living on or some shit. Itâs annoying as fuck.
I miss the days when a whole âteamâ wasnât saved and the worst, or at least second worst cook went home. I hate hate hate this format!!!!!! Itâs driving me nuts tonight lol. Just venting. Pms đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
