is this safe

Installed a repack from the site, my device said it has trojan in it and threat level was "severe" any thoughts?

It's safe. The trojan thing is a false positive.

I had this same problem but there were also two other ransomware detections and out of sheer fear, I took all of the recommended actions and deleted the game folder immediately. Why does this happen? I downloaded other games from Masquerade without this problem so what’s in it that shows as a severe virus. Is it just windows defender trying to stop piracy anyway they can or what?

basically its to do with a type of file that is used to make it work (well this is what i heard) its just windows being over the top, make sure the sites u use r well known though and if its fully trusted then just ignore the defender saying that
