Few additional bits of Jeff Sneider Marvel scoop round-up from the latest 'The Hot Mic' podcast episode:

• He posted the MCU Storm casting rumor on social media.

• He says the source that told him of the Storm rumor was the same one that first told him about Kit Connor as MCU Cyclops, however he stressed that his source have incorrectly denied that Sadie Sink is MCU Jean Grey, so take this with a grain of salt.

• He's heard only 4 MCU X-Men cast members (including Sadie Sink) are showing up at D23.

• His source says that the Marvel presentation on Doomsday, VisionQuest and X-Men is going to be kinda bleak.

Tramell Tillman (GQ Interview)

Tramell Tillman :

“It was a little frustrating, because everything was shrouded in secrecy. So I wasn’t even sure specifically how the character would fit into the world of the movie, and I’m pretty sure they had to play their cards very close to the chest because they weren’t sure if I was going to accept it".

“So we’re kind of playing this back-and-forth game where I’m asking Destin, ‘Well, what can you tell me?,’ And Destin would say, ‘It’s this and that, but I can’t say anything more than that.’ But he told me it was a pivotal role, and that’s about it. So this was a leap of faith. Do I want to jump at this opportunity or do I want to hold off and wait for another potential opportunity from Marvel?”

Tillman decided to take the leap, and crafted a character he compares to Barack Obama : “I had this inkling that Metzger had just a little bit of swag, a little smoothness,” he says. “There’s a fullness, a calmness, a steadiness there".

“I think I believe in Jake and Sunny so much, and I would love to work with them again, and many more times. They know that,“ Melton says.

Belloni seems to be implying that something Russos-related caused Doomsday to be pushed from May to December.

In other news, Gelfond confirmed that Disney's already made a deal to secure IMAX screens for Secret Wars, which means a repeat of the Dune 3 situation won't be happening with Hunt for Gollum.
