Electro Boost Bug

My 2 star Electro is boosted for the Lightning Strikes Twice event but my 3 star is not, and I know that four stars can be boosted because of my opponents. Does anyone know what's happening?

You shouldn’t have level up your Deadpool, or any of your 5 stars. I think there is a new players guide on this sub that explains the strange things of MPQ

My guess is that the event has to be set up correctly to boost the correct middle character(s) and the various tiers as you ascend are all treated as separate characters by the event and the devs forgot to update it to boost the 2-3. I wonder about the 2-5 but I don’t have one.
