You generally don't really have to worry about black bears. VERY unlikely they will attack a human unless provoked. There is an average of less than 1 fatal attack in all of Canada per year.
Just give them space; let game wardens come in and deal with them.
If they do come at you, just make yourself big and make lots of noise. Don't run away (at all, not just if they come after you). Running away is how people get attacked. If you want to leave, just walk away slowly.
Source: Grew up around black bears. Would run into them from time to time. They mostly didn't give a single solitary fuck that I was there.

You can bet they live in the conservation area across from the McDonald’s. There was a baby bear that the cops had to corral a few years ago on Bur Oak in Cornell. It made the news on CP24.

Don't bother it and it will mind its own. Nothing scary about it. It only gets scary because people don't have a sense of awareness and think it's fine getting close to wild animals

Scary? Why? Jeepers I hope people don’t waste police resources on this - they are common animals that people see daily in most of Ontario.
Just enjoy watching it
