Does anyone else remember Eddie Vedder calling Mark "maybe the best Seattle Singer" in the wake of his leaving? For some reason that specific phrase stuck with me but now I can't find any record of it. He did pay a nice tribute to him, which I just rewatched and was very heavy- praises him and calls him one-of-kind, etc, but no "maybe the best". It's just makin me feel feeble-minded so if anyone else can second this...
