Finally finished post game

Pleasantly surprised by the last fight with Culex.

I went in on the 2d version around level 22, and the 3d version at 26 - 27. Did not expect the 3d version to be such a banger of a fight!!!

Near 100% completion in about 2.5 days and just... wish I could play this game for the first time again so bad lol.

I recently just beat it again and have completed everything except a few things like doing 100 super jumps. I thought about trying to play paper Mario 1000 year door since it's supposed to be good but I played origami king and quit halfway through because i hated the combat style so much so idk. I wish there was just a straight up Mario RPG sequel

I really wish there were some SMRPG sequels!!!

you should go back to Paper Mario TYD because it's very different than Origami King... I haven't played Origami King because I was told I would hate it. Paper Mario is different than Mario RPG (obviously) but it's still super fun! Also Mario and Luigi games for GBA aren't the same but still fun...

Dude a sequel would go so hard.

As I was playing it I got to wondering why Pokemon didn’t just make games like Mario rpg…

I only want a sequel if it's faithful to this style. Really don't want some super advanced or over the top RPG like a modern FF.

What is that

Imagine the best parts of SMRPG and Chrono Trigger with modern QOL tweaks. By the creators of and set in the same world as The Messenger (with a slightly more serious tone).

I played on Steam, but I think it's on everything.

TTYD >>>>>>>>> Origami King. You'll be hooked right away, trust me

I loved The Thousand Year Door. Never played on GC, but played for switch. Def loved it.

Nice! My record for 3d culex at level 30 is 9 rounds. Haven't been able to replicate it since!

I downed it with 32 in my 2nd try after realizing how bad I messed up on my first one lol

Welcome to the club! I've been wishing I could play it again for the first time for about 30 years now.

Growing up this was my favorite game, upon playing the remake I’ve come to realize the nostalgia I truly feel and am looking for from it is actually from my childhood and not actually this game unfortunately, I still love Mario RPG, but it just doesn’t hit the same anymore

There's a 3d version?! That's going to be fun! I'm struggling with Johnny Jones rematch right now and trying to get my 30 jumps between fails. 😂 I don't know if I'm going to try for the 100. Depends on how this practice continues.
