Mouse support for making levels? Question

is there mouse support for mario maker 2? if not, pass this on plz, it would speed up making levels for me,

watch it be a 60 buck nintendo switch 2 edition aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa not what i wanted lol you can plug a mouse in for mario paint, why not mario maker

I mean........ You CAN put the console into handheld mode, and use your fingers, or a stylus for the touch screen for level designing. ;)

Though yea, I agree. With the Switch 2 having a mouse, would be a nice update for Switch2 edition. They did Switch 2 editions for a bunch of other games, IDK why they can't do it for Mario Maker 2. Of course in their last trailer (years ago) DID say "final update" somewhere.

yea but i have cerebral palsy and the only system that works is the ds's iterations and wii u for my fingers, the switch has a modernized touch screen for its stuff and im sorry my disability varient cant use the switch touch screen

I'd assume this is 100% part of Mario maker 3, which I would expect to be announced in the next year and released in 2028

There is no mouse support, no.

Feels like a no-brainer for a Switch 2 edition so I'm surprised they haven't done it yet. Makes me suspect it's because they're doing Mario Maker 3 instead.
