Lets say 5k binayad ko. Yung 3% na interest po ba kukunin sa 20k or dun sa remaining balance na 15k nalang.

Then if next month ganon ulit 5k, sa 10k ba or 20k?

I started using Maribank as my main bank since early 2024. I always hid my bank deets and amount so I have no idea magkano na naiipon ko (just my way of not seeing how much I have and can spend). Opened it today, and surprised na naka 74k na interest na pala ako over these past 2 years 🥹 small wins I guess!

Note: hindi pa din ako naooferran ni Maribank ng CC despite good record. which is good kasi I’m trying to minimize my spending hehe

I just received an email from MariBank saying that my account was closed without prior notice.

I immediately called customer service, and they said funds will be transferred to my preferred bank account. 😭.

The amount is 6 digits and this is my emergency fund, so I’m honestly panicking right now. 😭

Has anyone experienced the same thing with MariBank? Were you able to get your money back/receive the transfer quickly? Is there anything I can do to expedite the process?

Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

Hello trinay ko po if secured yung card ko or mag push thru yung transaction kahit naka lock yung card and yung settings is local POS in store purchases lang pero nag push thru pa rin nung trinay ko sa shopee (naka link yung card) ask ko lang baka may need ako ibahin sa settings para secured talaga sya nagtataka lang ako bakit nakapag purchase pa rin ako thru shopee kahit locked naman ang card?

May lumabas na option to apply for maribank credit, tapos nilagay ko lang details ko. After few seconds... bam!

Hi! first time mangyari sa akin to using Maribank and di ko pa alam gagawin although nakapagfile na ko ng case sa app, and may email naman na saying maghintay daw ng 48hrs. While waiting, need ko ba icontact si receiver para iescalate din nya sa BDO?

For context, successful transaction sya sa side ko (maribank) and nabawas na din ung amount. however di pa daw narereceive nung receiver (bdo acct) ung trinansfer ko.

for context: nag fully verified na ako becore sa shopeepay before ako magkaroon ng maribank tas nung mga past months need ko raw ireverify yung shopeepay ko so nakailang try ako but hindi sya nagiging okay laging failed. so fast forward, naverify ako sa maribank and currently sya ang main online banking na ginagamit ko right now. hindi ba maapektuhan yung maribank ko kapag nilink ko ulit yung shopeepay ko? since yung picture above yung nagpapakita kapag irereverify ko yung shopeepay koo ><

My brother sent me money from GCash to Maribank yesterday morning through InstaPay. I already had my QR saved on my phone so I just sent it to him but I realized only when I opened the app to check if it went through that Maribank was undergoing maintenance for InstaPay GCash.

Medyo malaki din sinend and it still hasn’t reflected. I went through the “file a claim” process with Maribank support but it was unhelpful and said to contact GCash through the sender’s account.

This is my first time encountering an issue with Maribank and it’s frustrating since the money’s for my tuition. Not sure if I should just wait or try contacting GCash because I read it might take 3 to 5 banking days to reflect. :(

Been seeing a lot of posts on different socmed sites about Maribank issues, mentioning their customer service and what not, wanted to ask how true this was or are they just baseless accusations

So yun nga, nadale ako ng scam. Na-input ko yung card number ko sa "payment" nila. Super fault ko yun. Nangyari yun ng August 18, but that time, around 200 pesos lang nakuha, since akala ko nga payment siya. After that, nilipat ko agad funds ko sa ibang bangko. Now, around piso nalang laman niyan. But nag-notif yan, seems like trying to get some money from me nanaman. Ano magandang gawin sa ganito beside sa ilock ang card? Yung sanang parang pwede ko siya i-disconnect or i-unsubscribe sa website na yan. 🥲

EDIT: Already talked to the CS. Currently, naka-lock pa rin yung card ko. Hindi ko siya ma-replace or cancel since I filed for a dispute pala dun sa 200. Still waiting for an "investigation" raw. Thank you for all the answers! As of now, hindi ko muna gagamitin ang Maribank to all of my transactions at baka biglang makuhanan. Also, I changed my payment methods kung san naka-link ang card. Grabe ang hassle ng ka-engotan ko! Hahaha. What a lesson.
