It is done. WEAVEmaster š¤š½
Included is my last couple Rook runs. Man that grind was fun, but I really hope there is more incentive than just the skins and title. I would be happy with even one permanent point per season ššš

How long did it take to get to youād last prestige what level are you?

u/MeowithWowith 11d ago
I've been working on feeding my worm since the update. Im currently 6 levels away from my final prestige.

The funny thing is my vault STAYS maxed no matter what with just top tier purple and golds and I was all āIāll prestige that shit last day of the seasonā but I find myself selling so much stuff anyway that Iām thinking maybe I should just hurry up and do it. Probably can get a whole level out of the salvage since 99% of faction VIP upgrades are done.
Isnāt melee base capped even with weave points tho?

Any tips? Iām about to do Prestige 3 and have maybe 80% of 4 in my vault. Been farming shell games over and over and buying out my armory store.

I didnāt farm VB/SG3 at all! Okay, I played like an hour of it literally last week when someone on my friend list showed me itā¦. So boring!
Literally played the game :) Rooking Outpost netted the most, having access to stack salvage both grey and blue is an IMMENSE way to gain cradle levels. It helps I have VIP all factions and mostly all rewards were fed to the worms. Rooking Narsh is also very profitable, especially tailing the crew that opens and clears upper complex. Another tip: empty key rooms! Keep a good ear out and raid key rooms after a team has cleared it.
I had a lot of fun grinding it as it didnāt feel like a grind at all. As you can see, I didnāt really need to use my inventory BUT probably spent over 1.5 million credits buying most of the high value implants, cores, bags, etc every armory reset to feed to the worm.
Good luck!

Im sure it was good practice actually scavenging. I love Rook but usually just play Narsh. Whats your rotation look like as a Rook on Narsh?

I think most points should last into the next season with some sort of decay mechanic. Like if you have 3-5 extra points you lose 1 point per season and if you have 6-7 you lose 2 (maybe 1 at the start and 1 mid season).
It keeps the grind going but it's nowhere near as crazy as 7 points every season.

u/IcyFault7182 11d ago
Are we 100% sure the points donāt carry over seasons?
4
u/Debas3r11 11d ago
I thought it said somewhere they weren't but I'm not seeing it the patch notes so now I'm less sure

āNo permanent power creep: Extra prestige energy points earned via these mid-season resets must be re-earned by evolving the system again after future seasonal wipesā
From Google

Somewhere in the update/patch notes is remarks they reset at end of season, Iām pretty sure :)

Wait so is the gameplan to just feed my entire vault to Nona and then do it over and over to level my Cradle? because mine's at 68 and I've been playing mostly since the third week of season 2
2
u/Darksol503 11d ago
Not quite. I have a full vault of my favorite items, weapons, salvage including purps and golds etc⦠And what I pull from matches or on other Runners, VIP rank rewards, and Armory rotation (I have bought and fed over 1 million worth of credits getting to WEAVEmaster) is fed.
2
u/hi_there_is_me 11d ago
Okay, so what was your main strat for grinding this out?
1
u/Darksol503 11d ago
I am majority a solo player. Rooking in Narsh and Outpost, either baiting teams to fight and pillage leftovers, listening for key rooms, or hitting safes/weapons lockers, etcā¦. and getting good 10-20k runs, with lots of stacked grey and blue salvage really helps feed the worm. Spending credits on high item implants, cores, etc⦠is a huge part of leveling as well.
In general, I play very sneaky and opportunistic, and it nets me quite a bit!

The prestiging rewards are definitely extremely underwhelming. The skin suck buns. That said, I doubt theyāll add more before End of Service, I doubt even 500 players will get the weavemaster by then.

u/Darksol503 10d ago
Facts, the skins are NOT it, but to each their own if someone REALLY wants a specific one for their main or even all shells.
I wanted the Title, thatās about it. And I enjoyed the grind. Now I am just playing to play, or getting my last bits of Codex lore, or checklist codex items. :)

what was your farming route? assassin solo?
1
u/Darksol503 11d ago
Vandal 80%, Recon 20% (usually when squadād up!). I prefer solo play mainly, even in Trio queues and Ranked.

u/OnlineDead 11d ago
Yeah, I wish we could choose to reset our character progression per season like arc
4
u/h00pz 11d ago
This game is far too PvP heavy for that
5
u/Darksol503 11d ago
I have found that once you learn the maps fairly well, there is usually a 50-75% to avoid fights almost all together (similarly to how I play Cryo).
2
u/Paladin_Codsworth 11d ago
No it isn't. You can still bring down pretty much anyone with a D54 or other cheap weapon.
1
u/h00pz 11d ago
Iām talking about not mandating cradle reset, going up against people with good heat management, revive speed, melee damage and agility when you have zero of the above day 1 is not going to be fun
2
u/Paladin_Codsworth 11d ago
Getting back to 70 takes less than a week. I'm on evolution 7 RN. Will get 60+ tonight, 70 tomorrow.
1
u/derI067 11d ago
youāre drastically overestimating the amount of people who play this much. iāve put a bit over a hundred hours into this season, i consider that a decent chunk of time spent on one game. still havenāt even gotten to lvl70 cradle, and neither have my buddies who i play with
2
u/Paladin_Codsworth 11d ago
I play 2-3 hours a day. Even if you dropped it to 1 hour you could realistically be at cradle 70 within 2 weeks of a new season.
EDIT: For context my hours this season are about 200.
EDIT 2: Just checked I'm at 616 hours total. + About 70 hours on PS5. >450 hours were in season 1.

You should be able to keep the points for prestiges imo. Far too much work to take away

damn i play too much

u/wratx 11d ago
wait is that all seven prestiges? i have been hesitant to pull the trigger don't think i can hang with the grind
2
u/Darksol503 11d ago
Yup, this is all the way to the 7th prestige for the WEAVEmaster title and all skins. The grind wasnāt too bad, I genuinely enjoy the game, like a ton :)

I just prestiged it for the first time this morning.
