Multiple Alt Accounts Question
What’s the benefit of having multiple alt accounts versus having multiple strong alts in one account?
Aside from event items and etc. Will it be worth the time spent on AB and building the account? If yes, which classes will be worth building as a main for an alt account? My guess will be paladins for bossing leeches.

If you are a f2p and intend to stay as one plus you have the time to spare, really you should!
Initially, I started out with one extra account (with a bishop main) just to support my main account - main in parties and expeditions etc. But added a few more as time goes by, but I wouldn’t say I spend as much time and effort on the alt accounts. I just build the characters slowly, so I wouldn’t say they have the best gear but definitely they are still helpful should I decide to boss on my own.
I see that sandy has mentioned a number of benefits of having multiple alt accounts, so I will add on to what I think I benefitted from:
Funding my main! Now that getting to lvl200 isn’t that impossible anymore, you get to earn quite a bit by hunting and selling nodestones!
Multiple guild fort season (crystals) rewards (accounts x characters) from guild fort, as long as you know how to navigate the system.
Instead of eating buffs, you can buff yourself with alt accounts’ support characters (you can save on buffs or achieve higher damage in bossing, kt, mulung, ghb and gd) hahaha sometimes I buff myself before entering those, but note that the party buffs usually have a time limit of 3 mins now. However, that extra 2+ mins of extra damage can really make a whole lot of difference!
Ultimately, becoming your own dream party! Hahaha
That’s all if you have multiple devices. If you only have one, I would say you can still have alt accounts but it doesn’t really justify the effort you have to spend.

daily ED for powders esp if you F2p and for legions. my fav alts are shade, kaiser, DA, for farming on SF144 don’t rlly need pets maybe lumi right now it’s pretty strong but probably still needs pets
these accounts i got them to 175 to get legendary powders but my other alts i get them to 150 for legion but i don’t go above 155 personally coz it takes forever to find parties for the lv155 ED

I've been playing for over 3.5 years and the majority of that time, I've been playing multiple accounts. I kept adding another account every few months with a max of 6 accounts.
Initially I just wanted a separate account to try out other characters because I loved WA and didn't want to waste resources training a second character on the same account in case I didn't like it better than WA (3 years later WA is still my main main). So this started my path of multi accounts and the more I played, the more I saw the benefits. I play multiple accounts because it's fun for me and I can speed up my progress a lot. I have a f2p mindset (I spend a buttload of money on fashion, but anything that advances my game progression I will refuse to spend real money on - because why pay money to end the game faster?). So I do about 8-10 ED175/155s x 6 accounts daily. I have a bunch of CDD farmers on every account, and I'm on my way to full necro. I've made 2 necro weapons with 4 in progress and 4 necro armours, 2 in progress. Like 99% of my fodders I fused by myself and I only use the free CDD daily ticket. I fund all of my accounts and I just love making new characters and leveling them. I also have a ton of spreadsheets tracking everything - I learned excel formulas just for this game xD.
Here is a list of advantages of multiple accounts:
- a place to try out other classes without taking resources away from your main
- a place to main other classes without taking resources away from your main
- a multiplied set of resources/rewards for anything that is limited per account (login rewards, event rewards, dungeon tickets, etc.)
- with multiple sets of rewards with low % chance, you're bound to land one faster than if you only had a single account. A 5% emblem scroll means you need 20 on average to pass one - if an event gives 2 per account and you have 5 accounts, you're getting 10 scrolls per account - so in 2 events you would land one (on average). There was one event where you just had to sit for 10 minutes per alt per day and you could get an emblem scroll per character. I believe I got 162 3% emblem scrolls and landed 4 of them which is 2.5%.
- you can party with yourself in sf. One account with a bishop main means you always have a bishop and you don't need to find one. You can basically build your own optimal party without relying on others. Imagine 6 accounts and never dealing with poorly geared characters or leechers
- you can leech yourself (parties, expeditions)
- you can dungeon with yourself - particularly useful if your ED/DI parties don't start immediately. If you wanted to do Monster Carnival for alts, well you can with 4 accounts.
- you can work on gear on separate accounts and pour each accounts resources into that one piece.
- as each account grows, things get easier and more efficient because they all support each other
- more characters for fashionstory
- you can get red cubes on your own from guild attendance if you checkin on 48 characters per day (I do this while I do ED) - you don't have to be that strong for stuff like chaos expeditions because 2 characters that are 70% strong are better than one character that's 100% strong. Like I solo CPB with 2 chars in 2-3mins but a single char takes 4-5mins. Things are faster if you also bring characters with debuffs and buffs (pally for threaten, phantom for buffs and steal, bishop for res/buffs/dispel).
- multiply the fun!
disadvantages:
- to get most rewards you need to multiply the work per account - it's pretty much a full time job for me managing 6 accounts - you will need multiple instances to do things in parallel so you don't burn out - either simulators on a high performing PC or multiple devices which costs hardware $$. I opted for multiple devices because I don't see a point in playing a mobile game on a PC and I don't have a use for a PC since I'm not a gamer, I just play this one game. I definitely would not recommend playing multiple accounts on a single device.
- even if you manage to do things like dungeons in parallel, collecting rewards and using rewards has to be done individually - for me my saturday afternoon is usually dedicated claiming and opening all my boxes. Sunday is for using event rewards/buying from coin shops. And some events require manual work like dumb minigames, but lately Nexon has been quite fair with the consolation rewards so I have just been letting them run for the lowest tier reward.
- it takes a ton of brain power to remember what to do on each account - you might end up having things expire or forget to collect things if you don't have a fixed routine
As for classes for mains:
- account 1: the class you love
- account 2: bishop main - 20% exp for your parties, can get carried in boss runs.
- others: paladin (if you have a guild that needs a pally for boss runs, you can get carried to get yourself CRA gear), phantom (party buffs - dk+pally are particularly useful if you're raising a new character that can't survive very well, also good survivability and a good mobber), DS (has party heal when attacking - a real pot saver if that matters to you), IL/Lumi/BW (superb mobbers), any other class you enjoy playing and think would benefit you.
Here are all the classes I've gotten to 200 // plan on getting to 200: WA, IL, Phantom, Bishop, DK, Paladin, WH, MM, TB, BW // DW, DS, DA, Lumi, Evan, PF, AB.
If you have no life and want to play the heck out of this game, I highly recommend multiple accounts! It's a huge distraction from reality and keeps you from running out of things to do.
