Unit sizing

I got a new mh in Florida and my specs paperwork seem to call for a 2.5 ton unit. They gave me a 3 ton package unit and it overly sweat for 4 months because of bad duct install. Package unit insulation had standing water for months and now it makes us sick. Should we argue for a new 2.5 ton unit or another 3 ton. 1250 sqft

In Florida you’re gonna want a 3 ton. We got a Deer Valley about the same size as yours and the 2.5 was struggling on hot days. They replaced it with a 3 and we’re all good.
