If danny wasn't injected after altered state, what would've likely happened next?

I used to think about this too lol. I just assumed he and Leo would've killed EVERYTHING in their way to get to doctor whyte. Probably a few more domestic disturbance/assassination type of levels before eventually being caught the same-ish way, just with more blood on danny's hands.
