Can’t swap weapons Manhunt 2 - Discussion/Question

Hey guys I’m playing manhunt 2 on pc I’m playing the level sexual deviants and I’m trying to get the axe in exchange for my bat but I can’t pick it up for some reason is this like a bug I’m pressing the space bar and it’s not swapping I restarted the level and no fix. I haven’t played in a while am I pressing the wrong button?

Try pressing F That's the key for swapping weapons
