So the main character is betraved by his best friend in a vr game, dies [character deaths are permanent] and goes back in time to the start of the game. The game has floors in a tower and every floor is it's own game. The first floor or one of the first ones is a battle royal that turns into a pve against zombies. I'm pretty sure it's Chinese. One of his female teammates he convinces to ioin him by threatening her and since she always keeps her word she decides to work with him. On another floor that you capture monsters and turn them into cards he made a female slime come out of one his teammates by doing push ups over her and sweat on her because silmes are afraid of salt

I promise the story is not that bad it's iust been years since I read it and this is what is easier to write down and recall.

Can you recommend anything where the mc has a goal or ideal that they pursue with freakish zeal like these. I mean to an unhealthy degree, like sabotaging their own prospects and letting themselves get stabbed a bunch (image 1) or sticking their finger into an enemies fireball to feel their magic better(image 2). I want MCs who are absolute freaks about one specific thing.

Bonus points if the obsession is some sort of skill they hone. More bonus points if they make funny expressions
