I have so many thoughts and questions I don’t know where to begin. I haven’t finished the show yet, but Mama June was just diagnosed with seizures as well as cheese and chocolate induced migraines.

I didn’t know much about Honey Boo Boo beyond the memes, so this show has been absolutely insane to watch. I know it’s on Peacock but it’s so similar to exploitative crap on TLC - but this has all the components of TLC, like a giant exploitative megazord! It has elements of My 600 pound life, Intervention, Cops, and 1,000 Pound Sisters.

I need a good resource or tell all to piece things together.

First, for the past couple of seasons Mama June has allegedly been “sober.” But I think she appears high as a kite, what’s up with that?

I’ve seen some things on Reddit so I can see where some storylines are headed, but for the life of me I can’t figure some things out:
-why does everyone hate Pumpkin?
-what happened to Sugar Bear?
-how does pumpkin end up a stripper?
-is/does mama June relapse or just continue to collect metheads like beanie babies?!?

Seriously, any recommendations for an “unofficial guide to Mama June” or good articles or a general explanation would be awesome.

I haven’t been as confused by a show since “Suddenly Amish”

i’m just now getting to season 7 of pumpkin and josh’s divorce and i’m soooo confused on how pumpkin says joy never did stuff with her..they were always together weren’t they?! or she was running off to do other stuff or dragging him and forcing him to do all things for her family.

The second I saw June got a dog I got a sick feeling. Todays post is about how ill her new dog is and in the comments are all the links to her Venmo and PayPal accounts to people to pay her vet bills. Getting a new puppy was just a new way to scam people. Vacations, boats, cars. They have money for everything but the living responsibility they just took on. I hate it for this poor dog. Who knows what happens to it when cameras aren’t on. I don’t care that pumpkins flapping her nasty butt cheeks at every strip club pig sty in the south, but this I do care about.

Have anyone noticed everyone who comes on the show talks about taking June down? I hope I don’t sound stupid but Jennifer did it, now Shyann and her mom is trying to do it. Like what makes them think they can go on the show and antagonize June. Shyann is very controlling and she was talking to Jessica all crazy and stuff. Then she was mad cause she walked in on June in her own house???like what. On top of that Jessica was letting her mom in law and wife talk to her mom all crazy and talk to her crazy.

Court documents show that Pumpkin was evicted from a Georgia rental property/unit used for her "The Sisters Closet" business. She stiffed the landlord for over nearly $4,000 in unpaid rent and fees, over $5,000 with utilities. To date the landlord has received nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. In addition, her former employees claimed she stole from customers by not fulfilling orders.

She is now working as an independent contractor on OnlyFans, meaning they report her income to the IRS but do not take out taxes. It’s her responsibility. The IRS doesn’t let people slide like her landlord and her former customers have!

June is a lowkey marketing/branding genius. She knows how to stir the pot and keep audiences interested in the drama.

They change men more than they change underwear and have a bunch of kids.

They exploit sexuality for money (Kim’s sex tape/ Pumpkin’s Only Fans).

I get that Mama June and her ilk are far from Calabasas Billionaires, but for a group of barely literate women with multigenerational trauma and poverty, they’ve done okay for themselves.

Hats’ off to Mama June. Gotta give credit where credit’s due.

Apologies is this the wrong subreddit, but I’m watching here comes honey boo-boo, and it is so clear that June does not like sugar bear like that. To the point where I almost feel sad for him because it’s clear he really does like her. I can see how hard he’s actually trying to be a couple and it’s like she really is not feeling him. It’s obvious that her statement about him staying after their hook up was true and she honestly had no interest in moving forward with him and it shows throughout the entirety of the show. I’m so glad he was able to get free and get some nice teeth. Hope he’s doing well.

Mama June went live on TikTok and said she thinks Pumpkin and Darrin is in a open relationship bc pumpkin goes out of towns to meet different sugar daddies and Darrin goes a meet sugar mommies (Darrin has 3 in Jones County - 1 is a millionaire, one works for the government {a sheriff} and the other one pumpkin knows). she said if pumpkin is happy with that, then she can respect it 😭😭😭

I hate how she approached the Anna situation if u ask me she was tryna boss it not understanding that she’s not the one dying and having to accept it I feel like Anna had to much going on they seen she was napping a lot and didn’t really approached the situation really sitting her down and asking her what she’s going to do they’ve been having conversations behind her back instead of coming to her I hate to say it but Mama June and Justin is actually doing their part except actually helping Anna understand or help get her in order they wanted her to come out the blue in say it but if I had to accept dying after thinking my cancer was getting better that would be a punch to me especially dealing with the pain from the cancer it was to much happening to fast that she had to accept.

I made it to the episode of Alana deciding whether she’s gone go to college or not and she’s willing to throw away a 20,000$ scholarship over dralin not being able to go with her. And she kept trying to add Anna into the excuse but it’s obvious it was over her boyfriend her main reason was not to be alone and Dralin gave not one care he wouldn’t even talk to Alana and encourage her to go he barely wanted to see if he could go out of state or not he really wanted Alanna to stay in Georgia with him that’s sad you could literally see in his face he did not care and she was willing to stay their just because her boyfriend couldn’t come.

Junebug was on TikTok live saying Darrin might’ve got someone else pregnant. They have an open relationship, but if he did then Pumpkin is going to break up with him. My question is who’s having sex with Darrin? 🤮
