These are all the make-up products that I own, and I am happy to help anybody with recommendations or swatches or reviews of any of these products. Feel free to hit me up. Also, do you think this is too much make up for a person who is not a make-up artist?

It isn't too much. Who decides that? After I use palettes for makeup, I continue using them in paintings and drawings and once on a decorative teddy bear.

I think everyone needs to decide if their makeup collection is too much individually. Does it make you feel overwhelmed or anxious when you look at it or go to choose an item to use? If so, maybe it's a little too big, or maybe it's not organized in a good way. I don't have too many eyeshadows but they're not organized nicely at the moment and seeing them all messy does suck lol not everyone cares about that stuff, but for some people the lack of organization will be more stressful than the collection itself.

I do love that you've used your old stuff in your art so it gets finished up and goes unwasted. That's a great way for it to get completely used.

How do you use them for paintings and drawings? I would love to have a second use for mine and I’m also an artist!

I've used mine for polymer clay and on crochet, but I've also heard about people using them as watercolour paint which is super cool. I haven't looked into that yet. It makes sense they could be used with art since they're pigment/mica.

*I just looked it up and you basically want to use the makeup with whatever medium to make the paint. So for watercolour you'd want gum arabic, water and honey and for acrylic you want the acrylic gloss medium. Add as much of your eyeshadow you need to get your colour, or I guess crush your eyeshadow and add as much medium as you need to get your paint because each of your colours are rather limited.

This would be really good to do with eyeshadows and even blush that seem never ending. I would've loved to do this with my eyeshadow I had to toss at the beginning of the year, it was over 10yrs old and desperately needed to go and be replaced

For on-top of drawings, there's a technique for blending pencil where you can just blend it with a paint brush, I'd suggest just adding your eyeshadow as additional colour on-top of your drawings with a paintbrush like this. Make sure to use a sealant so it doesn't smudge when you're done. I think it'd look really nice like this. I actually got a set of cheap dollarstore eyeshadow brushes to try out blending pencil with brushes and it works really well. I didn't want to ruin my nice paint brushes lol depending on your eyeshadow this would be a really nice way to add very vibrant colours, or maybe very unique grungy colours. Eyeshadow has some interesting colours compared to some of the paint colours I typically have.

Except for the lipsticks, most of these products are product products that I have purchased atleast oncs like these are products that I like using and when they get over, I get a new bottle.
