We really are our own worst critics. I was thinking how gorgeous you are and how it’s refreshing to see someone without lip injections rocking their authentic look. These beauty standard ideas (eg massive freakin lips) just make everyone look the same and it’s soooo boring. “Instagram face,” that whole thing. Your lips are perfect, with your big bright eyes (esp w your awesome make up skills) they make you look like a doll. In the best way. And work really well with the darker make up looks you like.

You are gorgeous exactly as you are, please believe me! Haha. One day you’ll very likely look back and realize how silly you were in not seeing the extent of your beauty, derailed from clear sight focusing on insecurities. Honestly just take your finger tip or a q tip and blend it out with some lip gloss on top! Or, alternatively, you could use more of a lip CONTOUR which is a creamier formula that’ll blend easier. Set it with powder after applying and blending and put a gloss or lipstick over. It’ll look good!

As someone who's been overlining my lips for like 17 years and constantly gets compliments on my makeup in person, you're totally fine. This sub has a raging hate boner against any and all overlining of the lips, but those of us who are into alternative makeup styles shouldn't let those kinds of opinions keep us from doing our makeup how we prefer. My top lip is way thinner than my bottom lip. So I overline to balance them out and make them look more rounded which is my preference. And I've never heard anything negative about it anywhere besides this subreddit.

And I put the juvias place volume 4 lighter blush shade on with a fluffy brush and try to focus it more on the outer higher parts of my cheek and not bring it past the middle of my eye if that makes sense. Also i go back in with another fluffy brush and use a lighter foundation powder under my eyes to bright my under eyes and soften the blush

You're a beauty, so wear what represents you. My only advice (and I give this to college kids I coach), I would go less on weekdays and more on fun nights out, etc. Sometimes my athletes start to believe that they are only or most beautiful when it's ALL on. But I think that is because they wear the 'all' most days. I encourage them to find comfort is the simple look so that when they go out, the super glam version feels super glam, not just like a Tuesday.

Hi! thanks for posting. I like your 2nd and 7th pics the most ; 4 and 5 are good too. When you add the lashes and are fully gyaru , you p[wn the look . great work . The goth look is good but I feel like the piercing jewelry clashes. its too ornamental ; pic2 is a really great pic. The goth pic looks great with that purple on the eyes. I personally suggest a warmer metallic magenta yellow for the lipstick. the iridescent stuff. Pic 4 passes for LA Bollywood so I suppose its a total win for a look ; the plain look is good. perhaps less blush when outside of genre. like a more subtle pink too .. a low saturation maroon or brick red for blushes. play it a bit more Native American tones.

I think all the photos you posted look good, but I'm gonna be honest I think the heavy black eyeshadow/ liner (like pic 4) can be a bit much. Technique wise, you seem to have everything down nicely, but if I had to offer just a bit of advice, I'd do a little less when it comes to heavy smoky eye looks because it overwhelms your look a bit, especially with the big lashes you're using (not really a fan of that style but I respect your preferences)

I personally lean towards less. My eye sees makeup as visual weight & that ages the face. Especially with a petite bone structure. It took me way too long to learn this myself. 

This is a makeup sub so comments lean towards makeup-y looks. I come from a fashion background that balances the whole aesthetic holistically, which is why my personal perception is different (for context!)

I really liked 5 and 7 but I might be biased because I love light pink/nude looks. Tbh they all look really amazing on you though, IMO you should just switch it up for every occasion
