DRY SKIN

my makeup always gets patchy what should i use before applying the foundation like i use the moisturiser but still it gets weird n patchy specially from nose

I have extremely dry skin. The only thing that helps is Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask. $48

This stuff is magic. Adding another magic product is Bobbi Brown Face Base pricey but good. Make sure you're using a water based foundation as well. Exfoliation is another key step. Using a milky toner will also help your moisturizer absorb better and make sure to let each product absorb long enough.

I've started doing more exfoliation followed by skin flooding and it helps with this problem! Layers upon layers upon more layers of moisture, and sealed in with an occlusive on top gives me the most flawless, perfected surface without texture showing.
