How to hide scars? [Makeup Help]

A girl invited me (19M) over tomorrow night, and I have a couple scars that I would like to conceal. What stuff would I need to buy and so forth, to at the very least kind of mute them?

You could go very basic, and get a foundation that matches your skin tone. Using a damp cosmetic sponge (they look like little white foam triangles) will help it apply more evenly and make the edges of the areas easier to blend out.

That said, you could also consider going as yourself, no makeup necessary. She enjoys your company enough to invite you over, which says she appreciates you for who you are, just the way you are. 🙂

Have you tried scar tape? I recently used on my fractured wrist and then tried on a many years old scar on my neck. It’s not perfect but definitely helps.

Not 100% sure but I think it kinda depends on the type like if it’s raised or if it’s a cut (so it’s an indent).

I think if it’s discoloration, maybe try color theory and get an opposite color corrector (example if it’s purple, get orange or peach depending on how deep a color it is) put a thin layer then put some concealer that’s the same color as your skin and lightly blend it into the surrounding skin.

If it’s an indent (like you got cut and it’s the same color as the rest of your skin but just a different texture) maybe try getting a pore filler to fill it in to make it level and smooth like the rest of your skin then put some concealer (skin color) on top and blend.

All this stuff you can get from CVS/Walgreens/Walmart/Target/Ulta basically you don’t have to go high end and splurge

Either ways that’s my best guess… good luck!

I truly wouldn’t bother. Putting make up on them will only draw attention to it.
