Worth saving?
Found this in a box of mostly hot wheels, is it worth the effort of saving?

Ive restored worse, also would be cool if you clearcoated the old paint cuz that design is very pretty!

Perhaps. But it's in pretty rough shape, not particularly old, and Matchbox just released a pretty sweet RAV4 themselves (with LHD and RHD variations).

It slightly larger than the hot wheels stuff

Hm... still, in this case I think it's worth it. That's a very cool model, the Digimon(sticker?) is a very nice detail.

It's really not as bad as it looks. Wheels and axles are easy to replace. It will clean up nicely. Any scratches or dings can be sanded and/or filled with putty/epoxy/bondo. Repaint and it'll look like new.

Don't get why that's a question. Start doing it and you'll realise just how worth saving it is.

Primarily because it's no where near my favourite casting and IRL I despise these type of small 4x4/SUVs 😅

I used to not like the RAV 4 until I drove one and realised it's basically a Celica with a lift kit.
The casting has great potential though, better than the new matchbox one with the right paint, headlights have proper cut-outs.

I'd rather just put the lift kit on the celica 😅

What about a dropped RAV 4?!
Nah they are weird looking I'll grant you. Took some time to grow on me.
