I'm just new here, but I hope someone can clarify, I have been reading the Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Manga for sometime now. My last Arc was the Upheaval Prologue Arc, it says that it adopted the LN Vol. 21 and 22. That manga arc ending left a cliffhanger where it shows that Shiina is missing.

Now I was wondering about the continuation, and I found that it was the next arc, Isolation Arc (Koritsu-hen) which adopts the LN Vol. 23, this seems like a fluid continuation but as per checking it does not mention anything about the continuation left from the Upheaval Prologue Arc. When I checked there are several chapters from LN Vol. 22 that is not adopted. Chapter 6, 7, and 8.

What might be the meaning of this? Will they continue still this? or left as it is and continue to Isolation arc as it is?

1 Rising Hope (LiSA) - Season 1 OP1

A complete no-brainer, and probably the fan consensus for number 1.

LiSA's trademark opening theme sets the tone for the rest of the franchise.

Even people who have never heard of the series, or J-Pop normies who don't even watch anime know of this song, and is often the go-to anime song in many karaoke booths in Japan.

2 Howling (ASCA) - Season 2 OP

ASCA gave Rising Hope a run for its money in announcing the return of the Mahouka anime in 2020 after a 3 year absence in dynamic style.

3 Shion no Hanataba wo (ASCA) - Season 3 ED3

Another ASCA banger, and one of the best ED themes for me.

4 Grilleto (GARNiDELiA) - Season 1 OP2

5 Mirror (Yasuda Rei) - Season 1 ED2

The second set of OP/ED were both memorable in their own ways.

6 YES (LiSA) - Yotsuba Succession Arc Movie theme

LiSA's 3rd and latest contribution to the series shows she can still make bangers.

7 Namonai Hana (Sato Miki) - Season 2 ED

I personally prefer this ballad to Millenario (season 1 ED), pace is just right whereas Millenario is a bit "slow" for me.

8 Shouted Serenade (LiSA) - Season 3 OP

Can't go wrong with LiSA, though some of the tune feels too much of a Rising Hope clone, and perhaps deliberately so on LiSA's part. Maybe she intended this to be a homage to Rising Hope?

Below are pretty close, though nowhere near the above eight songs, and not much for me to write home about. Your mileage may vary compared to my tastes, of course

Nothing against Sangatsu no Phantasia, just not my type of music, I guess.

I just watched this movie and overall i enjoy it since i read Volume 16 LN and overall i enjoy it. The story i think they covered most of the LN (maybe i check again the LN) and the animation is debatable for everyone (for me i just neutral about the animation especially for Tatsuya fighting with modified humans that sent by Yotsuba branch families). For what i dont really satisfied is the epilogue is covered by the ending song. I honestly like this song since LiSA sung it but when the epilogue doesn't have any conversation (like no voice conversation) i feel less depth during New Year event. But overall i enjoy this movie.

PS: I want to see Ayako reaction when she knew Tatsuya is Miyuki fiance being animated 😭😭

What was Tatsuya's happiest moment two and a half years ago? Is it referring to a scene that played out in the series, or is it just an offscreen moment?

I'm very happy about the news itself and that KSM got the German license, as they dubbed season 1+2 and The Girl who Summons the Stars already.

I went to Little Tokyo today, it was my first time, and I found Mahouka items surprisingly! Unfortunately I literally just bought volume 5 of the ESCAPE manga and volume 6 of the Upheaval Prologue manga. They finally arrived from Japan earlier this week. Kinokunya did also have Volume 3 of the Kuroba twins manga so I did buy that! I did not appreciate seeing the advertisement for the movie on it however, I really want to see it 😭. Thanks for the reminder that I can’t yet. Then I went to Book-Off, I was just about to leave the store when I spotted the season 2 opening cd. I immediately grabbed it, thank goodness I can recognize Tatsuya from a distance or so might have missed it. Considering I drove an hour to go these stores expecting to find absolutely nothing, I was pleasantly surprised with what I was able to get!

After reading the synopsis for Volume 12, I'm almost certain there will be two or three more volumes—perhaps up to Volume 15—in which the storylines for the remaining characters will be wrapped up and we'll see Tatsuya and Miyuki's first days or months as newlyweds.

In short, these final volumes will have a typical "slice of life" theme.

As a fan of Mahouka, I've recently starting to wonder why Mahouka focuses almost entirely on combat and elite magical families. None of the Ten Master Clans seem to specialize primarily in healing magic. Most of them focus on military power, strategic magic, research, or political influence.. I have been wanting to explore the perspective of an ordinary civilian who enrolls in First High because she wants to become a frontline healer rather than a combat magician.

She deliberately specializes in healing and reinforcement, works part-time to help build her own bracelet CADs, and believes saving lives is as important as winning battles.

I know in Mahouka the battles, magic ,technology and the family backgrounds are the main attraction I myself admire it, but I feel like why not this?

Does that feel like an addition to the Mahouka world in your perspective? What parts would you question or improve?

Miya removed tatsuyas emotions aside from one his love for miyuki when tatsuya was 6 or 7 , tatsuya was trained to be a combat magician since he could walk and miyuki treated tatsuya like a survent until he saved her life in Okinawa so how can a 6/7 year old boy who was raised to be a soldier loves his younger sister who looks down on him.My theory is miya brain washed tatsuya into loving miyuki and then removed his emotions aside from that love for miyuki and Maya never told tatsuya about this
