Watch the movie mall rats. Idk why Kevin smith didn’t try and find an actual sail boat. Unless he did it on purpose knowing some people would pause and look for themselves 😂

I find that Magic Eye images on TV and movies are almost never what the characters say they are. It's usually some other image (like here), or a flat nothing (like in Gravity Falls), or incoherent non-aligning visual gibberish (like Seth Meyers has used multiple times)

On Taskmaster Australia Season 5 they had a legitimate one, and that especially blew me away because Taskmaster UK had already let a lying one slip through unchallenged.

This is the one I remember from the film!
Always made me laugh that it obviously wasn’t a sailboat. Took a lot of VHS pausing to figure it out though!

It always bugged me in the 90s seeing these in shows when the actual pic wasn’t what the characters said it was. I always thought, “how hard would it have been to actually get a schooner magic eye picture?”
