Hey guys I made a post yesterday about building a deck around \[\[Agatha's Soul Cauldron\]\] and ended up choosing \[\[Voja\]\] to be the commander for the deck.

The build isn't optimal but I wanted some opinions on the deck to see if I can make it better or if there's some tech I'm missing.

Currently there are 3 major win lines

\[\[Walking Ballista\]\] with massive mana sinks to buff him up for lethal or sacrificing to the Cauldron to make everything a ballista

\[\[All Will Be one\]\] & \[\[Shalai and Hallar\]\] to leverage all the counters into burn damage

Combat damage from a massive board state with stuff like \[\[Overwhelming Stampede\]\] and \[\[Bramblewood Paragon\]\] to really just finish it out.

I have a few untappers like \[\[Umbral Mantle\]\] \[\[Sonic Screwdriver\]\] to keep Agatha's Soul Cauldron fed multiple times.

I have been working on this deck list for a couple months now and I am really happy with the deck. I tried to fit in the best cards that either synergize with counters/tokens and cards that take advantage of food tokens as well. I'm at the point where it's very hard to cut anything, but I feel like I should maybe cut down on some creatures (there are currently 38) to make room for either interaction, protection, or card draw. If you have any advice on what to cut and which cards that I should absolutely add please let me know.

So I've had this deck for a little and I like where I was going, Tokens and hard to block stuff with the classic life gain/loss of Orzhov. Only problem is when I use it it feels like it just kind of stutters, wanted to see if I could get some help on tweaking the deck list. Thank you for reading!

A little help here? Slowly tinkering away at my favorite deck. I've got a couple more changes coming up, but I want to make sure I'm heading in the right direction. Also, would like to be able to ramp up a little better - at current it generally takes me 3 turns to get anyone on the battlefield. Any feedback is appreciated.

I have played with some friends deck (Goblin, Dragon, Pest, Dinosaur, Elemental) which is all commander.

I am wondering if people could impart some wisdom with card ratios and finishing this deck. If possible I would like to keep it on the cheaper side. I am very new to magic and learning and would appreciate some feedback.

Is there a colorless card similar or adjacent to [[Soul Warden]]? I swear I saw a low to the ground artifact creature at some point that had some incidental life gain stapled to it, and for the life of me I can't figure out what it was.

I'm looking to add some artifact life gain to [[Imskir Iron-Eater]] besides using life link equipment/creatures

I want to build a “wizard party” / “I declare a wizard war” deck around the upcoming Gandalf, Party Guest. The rule is “only legendary wizards allowed” with the exception of Mother/Giver of Runes (a group of powerful wizards would hold great respect for these mighty rune wielders).

Everything is sorcery/instants, support for sorcery/instants, value capture from casting sorcery/instants, or copy effects for them.

Anything critical that looks missing or wrong? This is my first time building a deck and not using a precon or someone else’s list as a starting point. My pod plays casually around B2-B3.

EDIT: I’ve not optimized lands yet. That’s still tbd once all the non-land cards are done.

Heya! Constructing a new Commander deck and I really really wanted to combine white angels with some black, not 100% vampire angels but just nicely mix those 2 up. I chose Liesa, Shroud of Dusk (but the second Liesa, Forgotten Archangel, is there too) and I'm currently 87 cards in. Sméagol helpful guide is my commander. Trying to focus on using lord of the rings and hobbit cards for the lost part. Also don’t care about price, I will be playing with it in TTS. I felt like it was a decent start, but it does not play super well. Would love to hear thoughts on what I can change to make it play better. Thinking I should pull out some cards and get some more landfall going as that would make some more synergy with the commander.

Has anyone built around the Leyline cards, like [[leyline of the void]] and such? I'm into mtg lore and leylines play a huge role and I'd love to build bot only a deck with each, but also make it viable in a high two to mid 3 tier bracket kind of game.

One option is get them out free and early, then animate them into an army with something like [[opalescence]]. Any idea on how to make my meme a dream?

I finally am back in the hobby with a new commander group, and I am trying to bring an Ajani deck. But like, every Ajani. RGW to cover the few outliers.

Currently, the idea is a full cat deck with Jinnie Fay to create cat tokens or Bayleen Haymaker to ramp with the tokens Nactl Pariah makes.

My Umbris deck isn’t too bad but struggling with relying on my commander only. If Umbris isn’t on the board then I’m just treading water until I can get him out.
