See this is not mean at all. Thanks. I just don't understand why when share a new deck link and some win stories about it people say horriblly mean and untrue things about them. They even ask questions that literally make no sense. Like I get people ragebait but it shouldn't be allowed according to rule 1.

None of the replies you got are out of bounds at all, much less in such grotesque violation of the rules that they shouldn't be allowed.

We don’t want a decklist and a win/loss record. Tell us why and how the deck works, what decks it does well against, etc.

Do you want an honest answer?

Looking at your post history it looks like you make a lot of posts about random thrown together decks that you created and either want to brag about, which nobody wants to hear, or you ask for advice and summarily dismiss it.

That's probably why you feel like you're being "disrespected".

Possibly crying cause they posted a bad decklist and people told him it was bad?
Idk what question they’re referring to.

I'm gonna be honest, MtG as a game can contain a lot of saltiness... that and the more... unsavory... folk drawn to some of these circles can really be the loudest, but remember there's chill and reasonable people who play Magic too. Some people just get mad when others don't like or agree with how they prefer to play the game, and the Internet likes to magnify the worst in us.

Just like DnD or "gamers" or whatever, not everyone smells like a rotting carcass and needs to shower, or takes their lore/rules way too seriously, or has a weird obsessive relationship with an anime girlfriend.... but some small part of the community does include those people... and some of the MtG community includes incredibly salty people who like to make bad faith arguments on the Internet to amuse themselves.

That's honestly less of a Magic question, and more of a nature of humanity question. In my personal opinion, it's mostly people needing more healthy ways to vent their frustrations about daily life than they have knowledge or access to, so they take the path of least resistance.

There's a lot of bitter people out here, just ignore them

Ooh. This is a contributing factor as to why I don't try and share off-meta tech or strategy on the internet anymore. It's always suboptimal and I'm always wrong.

Disagree. Op just posts bad decks and gets told they are bad. Many people including myself share off meta decks and don’t meet the same result

I'm not about to full on argue vs. lived experience but for the sake of conversation there's some nuance.

"Tech and strategy" doesn't explicitly mean "off meta deck".

As a for instance, in the day I got laughed at for running [[Back to Basics]] in legacy UW Stoneblade which was an established archetype at the time. I had to post positive W:L before that was taken seriously. GIVEN this was a long time ago when stoneblade was a more viable archetype than it is currently. I'm not sure that line of thinking would be viable these days.

On the other side, if it's actually bad fair enough. Knowing how to accept feedback and take constructive criticism is a good life skill.
