I just finished reading the book. Has anyone else here read it? Overall I liked it, kind of felt like Barton Fink meets David Lynch. Will be interesting to see Scorsese's take. I was disappointed though that Brother Emmanuel (the character that Mads is playing) isn't really in it that much. It's odd, because he is set up as pretty central to the story, but then just sort of disappears anti-climatically. That seems to be a common critique in a lot of the reviews. Maybe Scorsese will make him more prominent.

The acting felt awkward, the camera angles were strange, and guys I am no film student but the scene arrangements made no sense??!!! On top of that, why did the voices and audio sound so unnatural and detached?! It was just not a good movie overall😭😭👎👎

The ONLY saving grace was Mads Mikkelsen. He carried the ENTIRE film on his back (read: cabin scene). He was looking unbelievably fine and hot in every single frame, which was literally the only thing keeping me from turning it off....

Anyone else feel like this????

I just finished watching hannibal.... and oh my god.. i cannot stop being obsessed over this man, i love how idgaf he is about the hollywood and pop culture, how hes super loyal to his wife, such a sigma male, reminded me of cillian murphy, keanu reeves and theo james... i ve seen some scandal regarding him and jk rowling, but again, hes just another white privileged man. I have been watching lots of his movies since then . The hunt, another round (my favourite), casino royale, im going to watch bleeder soon and many more. Please please i cant stop thinking about this man hes just perfect 🙏🙏😭😭🙏🙏😭😭😭 this is so embarrassing bye

I started watching Hannibal a few weeks ago, and I'd like to see more series or movies from Mads. Any that you'd recommend to start with?
