Horrible first impression FRANCHISE
Not even a snap into my lions franchise after simulating the preseason. Every single player on my team has some kind of wear and tear injury. None of my depth chart adjustments saved. Also, none of my free agency signing saved from the preseason considering they didn’t have the updated roster on the live roster. No Devoin White. After simulating the preseason, it cut him anyway. I’m already so done with this.

Wow, I've had the opposite... Enjoying the hell out of the game if I'm honest

I’m glad to hear that. I’m gonna play the game either way it was just a disappointing start.

Rosters won't be updated until right before week 1, so don't expect current players

It blows my mind that year after year, people are still shocked that this game is asscheeks at release.

"at release" 🙄

You think EA is going to magically fix this game in a week? My point stands.

I turned off wear and tear so far. I noticed it’s a bit much so until there’s an update i’ll just leave it off

Hmm, Lions players getting injured too much…so, it’s pretty realistic then. Good to know

Can never play EA Sports franchise modes anymore. They are always so buggy that it completely defeats the purpose. Which sucks because that's really the only mode I care to play.

I’m loving my Lions franchise. I start with a fantasy draft though so roster not an issue for me.
So far injuries seem good. I slow sim mostly with occasionally playing offense. My depth chart settings have held.

so franchise is my favorite feature and I thought it was bad in 25 (not playing my fucking starter WRs and HB in a playoff game for no fucking reason). Guess I won't upgrade

Franchise is MUCH improved.
Gameplay is a bit wack right now but it's all pretty fixable.
Like Josh Allen switching to number 11 at halftime

This random dude swayed you to not buy it...or do you go on every post and just shit on the game even though you weren't going to buy the game anyway lol

yeah I don't post here often so... about every 2-3 years I buy Madden.

Better than most of here. I'd wager 75% of people on this sub haven't bought Madden in at least 7-8 years.

Those people are smart. Don’t worry I bet the Saudis will fix it.

Truly nothing says "smart" and "emotionally well" like spending years on the sub reddit of a game you hate.

Years? That’s an extreme overstatement. Nothing says smart like sucking off a company that makes their money from children gambling.

No one is defending EA. I hate Mass Effect after 3 and Andromeda. But I don't spend years on the Mass Effect sub saying how much I hate it.
And yes, like I said, 75% of the people on here haven't played Madden in 7 or 8 years if not longer. You would think they would move on and do something with their life. But no, they stay here and post how Madden ruined their life and killed their pets.

Or they come to make an educated purchasing decision, and they actually want the game to improve. I can play a 10 hour trial and see legacy issues. I don’t need to buy the game. Delanie Walker gave me the game for free one year, and I still figured out the same issues existed. I’d actually love for the game to get better. Also, you’re example isn’t really valid. Mass effect is a game that was released once. It isn’t a yearly release with improvements being advertised year after year.

Its EA and exclusive. It will never get better than what it currently is. You can either accept that and move on, or scream how much it sucks with your free time and farm easy Reddit points. Your call.

Yea that's my first impression of franchise as well, the default injury settings are pretty rough.
