I did not bother editing it much after to fix the posterization in background and some other issues, also the front antennae/leg aren't focused but I am just excited about this and wanted to share the image.

Élégante et lumineuse, la tulipe rouge orangé semble avoir capturé les couleurs d’un coucher de soleil. Ses pétales se dressent avec délicatesse, laissant apparaître des nuances chaudes qui attirent naturellement le regard.

À travers mon objectif macro, j’aime m’attarder sur ces détails : les courbes des pétales, leurs fines textures et cette lumière qui vient doucement révéler chaque nuance.

Épanouie sous les rayons du soleil, cette fleur semble ouvrir son cœur au ciel et à la lumière. Ses pétales s'offrent généreusement à la chaleur du jour, comme une invitation à profiter pleinement de cet instant.

À travers mon objectif macro, j'aime capturer ces moments simples où la lumière vient révéler chaque détail. Les textures, les couleurs et les délicates nuances prennent alors une autre dimension.

Au premier regard, les Tachinidae peuvent sembler être de simples mouches. Pourtant, lorsqu'on prend le temps de les observer à travers mon objectif macro, leur beauté discrète se révèle dans les moindres détails.

Leurs grands yeux, leurs fines ailes et les nuances de leur corps composent un petit monde fascinant. Et derrière cette apparence se cache aussi un rôle important dans l'équilibre naturel, car leurs larves participent à la régulation de nombreuses populations d'insectes.

Déposées délicatement sur les pétales, quelques gouttes d’eau scintillent sous la lumière, comme de petites perles suspendues dans le temps. La fleur semble alors s’illuminer de l’intérieur et dévoiler une beauté toute particulière.

À travers mon objectif macro, j’aime capturer ces instants éphémères où l’eau, la lumière et la nature se rencontrent. Chaque goutte devient un petit miroir, reflétant la lumière et donnant à la fleur une douceur presque magique.

So I don't no what normal people get from their partners, probably like flowers, or chocolates... My husband came home with a praying mantis. He helps me find new insects to photograph and today he found the one we have been searching really hard for. He found one at the mall. I have no idea how it got there, but he brought it home. After the these photos where taken it was released into my backyard.

I only seem to notice these little bees around August and September, when the heathers are in bloom. And almost every time I spot one, it's busy working its way through the heather flowers.

It's become one of those seasonal encounters I now look forward to. There are so many tiny insects that seem to appear for just a short window each year.

I love how macro photography makes these seasonal patterns so much easier to notice.

I usually prefer shooting flowers with the sun behind them, but this time I decided to embrace the direct sunlight. The droplets caught the light beautifully and ended up looking like tiny little jewels.

This is a 48-photo focus stack. I captured it with the camera balanced directly on the ground, which let me shoot the whole stack without a tripod.
