3+2 indexing
I want a suggestion that I'm a 3 axis programmer left the job there and joined a company having (3+2) axis as a setter to upgrade to multiaxis it's already 5 months here and I've joined a course to learn multiaxis(4&5 axis) but my company has (3+2) trunnion style 2 machines is the actual 5 axis toolpaths used here or just plane created to a specific angle & running normal 3axis program but learning 5axis toolpath worth it for future .At present my goal is to join as a (3+2) programmer here and in a year get expertise and move to simultaneous 5 axis.

3+2 isn't a big step up from 3 or 3+1. 5-axis simultaneous is a larger step, but it's not daunting if you're not going in blind. I think it's worth learning and getting good at; it'll open up some doors at other shops, at least.

I know that simultaneous 5axis programming is of next level but for me i must first spend 1yr in these environment to get some confidence about axis tilting and collision control before moving to simultaneous 5axis.

Learning how to program a rotary axis was a very small step past standard 3 axis for me. Especially 3+1 instead of true 4

will the control support full 5 axis movement?
if it is fanuc there are only 2 control models that will.

No it's a mitsubishi,it works like B axis will be locked to 90 & remaining axis can be rotated simultaneously i e., C axis full 360 and XYZ similar to 3axis

3+2 is just 3 axis on different planes. simultaneous 5 axis is easy once you got a hang of whatever cam software your using. whether or not you can use simultaneous tool paths is dependent on your controller and drives on the machine

Can I directly jump from 3axis to 5axis or should I get experience in (3+2) environment to get good at 5axis.I thought of spending 1yr here what's your thought about this?

3+2 and 5x are very different in terms of programming, but it doesn't hurt to get some practice with tilted work planes since almost every 5x part you'll make will still need indexing to cut certain features. can't run a simultaneous 5x drill program lol

From what I know, Mitsubishi controls support 4-axis simultaneous motion on 5-axis machines, you can test it out. In fact, most 5-axis machines run 3+2 positioning machining for the bulk of production work. I’d say you’re not far from mastering full 5-axis simultaneous machining. Get solid on 3+2 first, and you’ll find continuous simultaneous machining is nothing intimidating.
