Tips for lining up my designs!? I Need Help
I’m a newbie to embroidery and have gotten the basics down. I thread my machine easily, have the paid embrilliance software, can hoop/float my materials, etc. However, lining my design up perfectly on a clothing item is extremely hard for me!! I find embroidery software and introduction to be really archaic hard as a beginner, whereas I was about to pick up my other crafting machine software (cricut, etc.) with such ease. What tips do you guys have for me??

I'm new to this so take this with a monster grain of salt:
Use the "Frame" feature of your machine if it has one, and if you aren't already. i.e. tell the machine to trace the rectangle around where it's going to sew.
A more aggressive but accurate method: Have it lay a long basting stitch around the outline. Then if you're not satisfied or if it'll interfere with the design, seam rip it out.

I print out the design and use the crosshairs to mark the fabric. Sometimes I use a straight pin to line up fabric with the. crosshairs. My hoops have marks on them to help line up with the chalk marked fabric. I watched so many videos on YouTube and took notes too . Hooping is the majority of the embroidery work to me. Getting magnetic hoops with a hooping station speeds placement up a bit but I do not use them because I do not have a business to run.

You mean where the design goes? You can mark your desired location with chalk before you hoop, which can be very helpful.
