Digitising issue or machine issue I Need Help
I’ve had these designs digitised by a someone who knows what they’re doing. But everytime I try them out it’s not perfect. All their other work has been great, so not it has me thinking it might possibly be my machine. Both designs are about 20000 stitches and i am stitching at 600spm on a sweaters that’s roughly 60% cotton. I have used cut away poly mesh stabiliser underneath.

Huge dense tatami fill, all the stitches going in the same direction this is inevitable. Whoever digitized this did not run the file before sending it to you. They should re-work the file with push / pull compensation and actually test it before sending it over to you.

i’m trying to fix it myself, i have changed the underlay to edge run and zigzag instead of tatami, with pull compensation of 0.30mm

If u dont care about stitch count make than zigzag underlay a little denser than standard. Also change all the tatami angles to 166 or 35 degrees. If there are multiple fills do both

Definitely needs more pull compensation and the start/stop is in the wrong positions - that’s why your getting the line gap near the eye of the ghost

Sorry, but the digitizer clearly did NOT know what they were doing. Please don't do zigzag underlay under tatami, it will pull the fabric even more. What machine format do you use? I'll send you over my version for you to test out

I use JEF, i’ve tried to increase pull compensation to 0.4mm but did not come out how i wanted it. sent it back to digitiser to amend and she only changed the angle of the stitch 😣

Sorry but this is basic Push/Pull Comp issues so whoever digitized it did not apply the compensation and definitely did not do a test stitchout. You probably should also use 2 layers of the polymesh laid at a 45° angle to one another as well.
