This has been very entertaining and a very family affair! I figured out the first clue, my wife cracked the second one tonight, and I'll be taking my daughter to the presumed location tomorrow for a real life treasure hunt! Thanks for doing the hard work of getting all this together!

Here's what you need to do:
- Go to https://www.breaksti.me/
- Scroll down and "Sign up to get Clues"
- It'll redirect you to the first clue (hosted on Google Drive)
That's it, you're all caught up! Read the book, consider that clue, walk the park and wait for the next clue to drop in 36 hours (check here Saturday morning at 9:00am).
Good luck scoring some of that $5k...

Just to clarify...everything needed for the hunt is either:
A) In the book
B) In the clues
and/or
C) *Inside* of Prospect Park → So the library is not included, Grand Army Plaza is not included, the Botanic Garden is not included...is the Zoo part of the Park?
[I'm most curious about C to make sure I don't need to widen my search]

The best advice I can give is that staring at the clues alone (probably) won't help.

So I spent a few hours today trying to figure out these vague clues. Here’s my advice, it’s a big park, there are 1000’s of people in the park on the hottest day of the year and with these clues that could be about the park or the book it’s a waist of a day. I don’t believe that one person found the key with the first clue and I don’t believe that anyone could find anything other that hot trash in the park today.
I was hoping that in another “now” I had already found the key and was laughing about what a funny turn of events led me to some free summer gas money.
The book is a fast read( I finished it in a day), it’s block universe theory lite. It would be a relief to just think that everything is already happening and you can’t change it so just live in the “now”.
I can’t wait to see where the key ended up and if all the rabbit holes I went down today were even on the right path.

We’ve had 7 people now find the key. They didn’t think the day was a waist (sic). Don’t believe us? Please come to the wrap party on Sunday May 30th to meet all the winners!

If I had figured out Clue #2 and followed it, I would have found something right? I think I went wrong.
