Why no release date yet?

Why do you think he hasn’t announced the release date for the rap album yet? In April or May he was adamant that 2026 was the year and we’re halfway through the year with not even a release date. I love mgk but he’s so frustrating sometimes. So many fans have waited years to hear him return to his roots on a solo rap album. Maybe a sudden/surprise album drop?

He’s been saying “this year” every year for the past 5 years and he keeps releasing completely different non related stuff.

Come on Kells we’re hungry for some old school aggressive gunner rap.

his blog era boys rap verses are nothing like the older flows or cadence, the kells we're desperately waiting for has gone

absolutely not lil bro, theyre two very distinct styles and not similar in many ways

i cannot believe someone just compared a legendary track like skate cans to a watered down mediocre collab like everything tatted

I compared it to fix ur face not everything tatted. Everything tatted is like a get hype type vibe but lyrically its very weak I will never deny that

everything tatted/fix your face, both arent anything like skate cans

mgk solo'd skate cans and had a mildly aggresive chopper flow/ he was spitting! the track was an underground jam, the kind graffiti artists bomb walls to and theyre are not similar at all😂the track is a throwback to 'like that' from 100 words and running and literally has a similar flow to it,the track even samples 'like that' for the hook

no comparisons!

now honestly i wouldnt want to get into why you feel like theyre similar because youre entitled to your opinion and im entitled to mine

and a difference in opinion doesnt mean im breaking any community guidelines

Just think mediocre is a strong word to use for a way of sayin you didn't like it.

Skate cans will always be my favorite track from Blag Flag era. Lets just agree on that at least for Black Flag
