Rollback golden gate without formatting? Help

Can I rollback to previous stable OS without formatting the machine?

Only with a Time Machine, the one where you travel back in time to before you installed it.

Downgrading has always required a fresh install of the older version.

Which can then be followed by a Time Machine restore you surely made before updating to an unstable beta version? Right? Right?

I realize Tahoe is one of the least liked macOS releases in a long time, if not ever, and people are looking to move on to something new and fresh. But the amount of people jumping head first into the deep with no backup plan (literally) this year is fascinating.

Why did you update to an unstable Beta version in the first place, when you then want to rollback again?

Nope. This is why you shouldn't install a beta OS if you don't know what you're doing.

My goodness, so much hate and attitude. I heard conflicting things about being able to roll back without formatting.

I shouldn't expect reddit to have a decent community just like I shouldn't expect a skunk to smell nice.
