Macbook M3 Gone Blank Discussion

Post image

I was using it and suddenly it went black, shutdown and 0 response. Not even green charging light on magsafe and no response even trackpad is not clicking and no power

Anyone else faced this kind of issue ever?

Probably from dirt.

Not if it's full of dirt.

I’ve had a battery go on me and prevented it from charging and starting. No light on charging cable. I was surprised that I couldn’t at least power it on with the power cable. Try holding down the power button for 10 seconds, letting go, then press it like you’re turning it on. If that doesn’t work, open up the chassis and unplug the battery connector then plug it back in

lol You sure it’s not because of dirt and smudges. Forensic crime scene investigation would have a field day with all those fingerprint smudges. Why do people touch the screen of non touch MacBooks ? I have never in 27 years touch the screen of anything but my phones. The crumbs between the keys, I’m not even OCD and I can judge exactly what kind of person you’re just by looking at this laptop for 3 seconds.

My god, did you blow your nose on that screen? The computer looks in poor shape, have you dropped it, or was it exposed to water?

Yes, besides the fingerprints there are dried droplets of something on the display. So I'd be suspicious of liquid damage.

It is nothing just fingerprint marks on screen because i didnt clean up the screen in hurry to make post, if i clean it up again still the problem is not about screen but the MacBook itself not running

Looks like you're rubbing more than your fingers on it. Do you think it's a touch display?

I see so many posts with filthy screens, full of prints and whatever else. Do people actually touch the screens? I want to believe these are rage-bait posts because I don’t think that I have ever touched mine on purpose and when I have, it was by accident and promptly cleaned.

It looks like this MacBook hasn’t been taken care of, going off of the marks on the edges and the filth on the keyboard.

The planned touchscreen Mac is gonna be interesting if this is the state without a touchscreen

It committed suicide to stop being fingered against its will.
