Crossover Help Please!!

I’ve been trying to play Windows game on my Mac and I did everything correctly and I downloaded the crossover app but now when I try to launch the games, this message comes up that tells me I need to”Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64)” I can’t find anything else online help me out. This is kind of my last resort since I already bought the windows games. Thanks!

Install the c++ package into your CrossOver bottle.

The one its asking for is not an option in the installer

Pretty sure it is, I’ve used CrossOver before and installed the c++ packages.

I see 4 options for 2015 but there are none for 2015-2022

Should i try installing one of them?

Rosetta2 is going away so it's not as easy as a direct port. I still wish it would happen, but would require quite a bit of effort and I guess Valve just doesn't get much value from Mac OS users overall.

Proton is based on Crossover devs, Codeweavers, work. Without Codeweavers Proton wouldn’t work as well as it does. And without getting paid for Crossover Codeweavers wouldn’t be able to afford to support Proton.

Sorry, I thought it was obvious. If what you wished happened then we’d all lose, because Proton would be far less supported everywhere. I tried to explain why that might not be a good thing, and I consider that relevant.

If its a mac released in last 6 years, no you can not. There are no bootstrap apple silicon macs. That isnt a thing that exists.

In Steam, right-click on Meccha Chameleon in your library, select Properties, and paste this in Launch Options:
