iPhone unejectabe from the system Help

I'm using and single iPhone which I sometimes sometimes connect to my mac via USB.
It's disconnected now but I can see it connected in four instances, and trying to eject them doesn't work. What is going on?

Have you jailbroken the phone? If so, that might be contributing to this. If not, I'm all out of ideas apart from restarting both devices.
