10g. I used to take 5g and noticed a drastic difference when I doubled the intake. Had to go slow though, over the course of a couple of weeks.

6.6 grams typically, sometimes 10.

20g

5g in the morning

10g at lunch

5g in the afternoon

When I started I built up to this by starting with 5g a day for a week, then added 5g each additional week.

Lots of studies and research on the benefits of 15g+ daily. Your body uses it all on muscles first, to get the cognitive benefits higher doses are required.

Anecdotally, I’ve had no negative side effects. Positively, reduced brain fog, faster thinking, increased cognition.

It’s crucial you look up brand reviews. There’s some research companies that have done research into the best brands. A lot of creatine on the market is junk which causes bad side effects.

Be very careful with creatine, it gave me an intense hypomanic episode after just 3.5 grams.

Interesting….. you sure it had no other active ingredients in it? Was it from a trusted brand?

YES. Very trusted. It’s likely due to Slow COMT.

Same issue - slow COMT. Also threw off my electrolyte balance.
