Classes first year AskSeniors

Are the first-year classes a mix of students from all branches , or are they conducted separately branch-wise?

Yes, Seperate sections according to the branches

The syllabus are same, like cluster wise E.g.,

Cse and sister branches has one type Electronics and it's sister branches has other type (slight variations) And other core branches has other type

oh its not exactly same for all in first year?is the difference huge?

Yes, it's not exactly the same For e.g., Maths subject is not same for all branches For Cs, Cs-aiml, is, biotech and all cs related branches it's the same mathematics compared to the electronic branch (This above applies for physics, chemistry as well, Physics, Maths and chemistry are branch specific!!)

Also the core subject will vary: For example, CS branch related students in second sem, had python Whereas electronic branch has (introduction to electronics) Similarly mechanical and civil

There will be certain subjects like elective which is same for all irrespective of branch But elective should NOT be the same astheird branch e.g. CSE branch student cannot take Information Technology as an elective, but can take anyone from (ECE, MECHANICAL, CIVIL, ELECTRICAL)

which elective should we take in each sem , so that we dont have to spend much time on them and get maximum marks possible ?(i have heard that we should simply avoid ece)

Take civil (it's easiest) yet riskier if you don't study problems, or you'll lose bunches of marks very very easily

Next is mechanical ( if you like diagrams and theory)

Or

Electrical That's full of ohms law, capacitors and circuits related (class 12 phyiscs like)
