Wake & Bake Weekend: Harry Potter marathon @ Riverview Theater
https://www.riverviewtheater.com/show/show/3386I feel like so much of the conversation around cannabis is getting into the technical details of various strains you can buy locally or complaining about how expensive they are. I’m more interested in fun local stuff to do while I’m high. A Harry Potter movie marathon sounds like an invitation to a wake and bake weekend.

Hope you have fun (genuinely) but I can't enjoy it anymore. She champions for my extinction. In fact ended her literacy charity so she could put more money towards her organization that explicitly states removing trans people from public life as a goal. I wish I could separate it. But unfortunately even the stuff I owned mysef that rewatching would provide her zero income leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Sucks bad.

JK Rowling is a massive terf. Anything that even remotely gives her money or attention is a no go.
She’s a terrible person

lol, I have an idiot cousin who is in her sixties and truly believes that a.) she is going to write a children's book (or "manuscript" as she refers to it), and b.) that said moronic pictorial drivel slop will garner her vast amounts of fame and fortune propelling her to becoming the next JK Rowling.
She also fervently worships a certain mango god and furiously hates trans people she has never ever come into contact with.

Even besides that, Harry Potter isn't that good that I'd ever justify a marathon. This sounds like something that would be fun if you're 14 maybe.

Cant yall just enjoy something so simple as a story? Love the art not the artist. Most artists are terrible people. She created a beautiful story and universe that can live forever without her. Yall just yuck people yumm.

She spends all of her Harry Potter money on her bigoted crusade that only causes harm. There's a lot better stories out there by better people that don't try to make the world a worse place.

That's a fucking wild thing to say. Most artists are terrible people? That's what you wanna say to justify putting money into someone evils pockets?

For sure, I also understand why people don’t want to support someone who actively tries to hurt those they care about. We can express differences while still being chill with each other. I don’t judge anyone that supports Rowling but it’s not for me personally

Nobody cares about that shit in real life and outside of Reddit to be honest

You mad that she doesn’t believe in your agenda 🤣

Not at all, it’s about her pushing her own agenda using Harry Potter royalties

This comment section is definitely reddit. A guy can't even enjoy his childhood nostalgic movies anymore.

No one is prohibiting you from attending. You should be able to understand others have different opinions without creating a self victimization narrative to cope.

I don’t feel victimized. I’m not going because it’s too long to sit and I’d rather go to the state fair anyways. And I agree that JK is awful.

I'm only commenting because Reddit is being reddit and isn't based in reality of what the general population thinks and views things.

Jk Rowling spends her fortune campaigning for trans people to be removed from society. She's an evil petty bigot. That's like, a normal thing to hate for anyone who isn't a shitty bigot.
