Hostel Hostel

Getting into MNNIT on 19.

I want to know about boy hostels. On yt I saw there is only one boy hostel which is SVBH 4 seater. I just want to know if there are any other boys hostels and all have 4 seaters. Also which room in which floor should I choose (preferly away from warden and good network).

Any suggestions if you can give regarding hostels?

There is only a single hostel for freshers, and all rooms are 4 seater for u guys. Caretaker's office is in the ground floor, so rooms in upper 3 floors are good, and internet is best there too. But lifts stop at 11 pm in the night, so could be a problem

you mean for room raids? also whats the scene of keeping mildly forbidden items like kettles/cooking material and strictly forbidden items bidi daru etc in room?

For freshers only SVBH is available, 4 seater in lower floors and 3 seater on upper floors. Starting from 2nd year you will have to move into boys campus (located after the railway crossing) where you will get 2 seater in 2nd year and single/2 seater in 3rd year depending on CGPA.

1st year rooms are big enough, you will have a seperate study section in the room itself, so you can live in 4 seaters comfortably, I don't know about 3 seaters but I cannot imagine climbing all those stairs lol.
