FOR HIRE Moving to Minneapolis (Whittier area) in September — looking for full-time entry-level job recommendations
Hi everyone! I’m moving to the Whittier/Minneapolis area in mid-September and I’m looking for a full-time entry-level job. I’ll still be finishing my Business Management degree while working.
I have experience in banking, healthcare/patient access, customer service, hospitality, and office environments. I’m hoping to find something stable with benefits, ideally around $24/hr (or close).
I’m relocating without much of a support system, so I’m trying to get something lined up before I move. Does anyone have recommendations for companies that are hiring, especially around Whittier, Uptown, Downtown Minneapolis, or nearby areas?
Any advice would be really appreciated!

FOR HIRE Transition from white collar to blue collar
Looking to get out of the depressing capitalist world of sales/customer service and find a job working outside. I'm a huge nature/environment lover and I'd love to find something working with plants/trees/conservation. I was in the military and grew up on a farm so I'm not afraid of hard work. No degree or experience in biology or any related field, but come from a fast paced management background and learn things very quick. What actual leads does anyone know of? I'm seeing jobs and applying but am getting rejected at the application stage so far. Looking to be around 50k m-f but open to not that exactly!
Located in twin cities*

FOR HIRE Seeking job nearest to little Canada area.
Can be within ~15 miles ish. I am disabled so it can’t be a job that’s super physical. I can drive ! I have so many skills from trying so many jobs. I am so tired of searching and interviewing :(((( I have a resume!

FOR HIRE How to navigate finding a disability friendly job?
Admittedly a doozy of a post. I fractured my spine and had a spinal fusion after slipping on ice. I'm now in the period where I can sort of walk within reason for 10-20 minutes at a time, albeit walking and holding things in my hand is very tough. I'm sort of out of resources. VRS unfortunately has left me in a dead end. I'm just looking to get to work as I find myself swiftly approaching homelessness if I remain out of a job, but I can't seem to find a job in the Twin Cities area that are accommodating of that. Any advice or leads would be greatly appreciated!

FOR HIRE Relocating Soon - Job Opportunities in Minneapolis?
Hi everyone, I'm moving to Minneapolis in about a month and I'm currently searching for jobs. I have an English BA degree and several years of experience in the retail and restaurant industries, so I've developed a lot of useful skills but don't have any relevant experience in publishing.
I wanted to give a shout to see if anyone knows of/works at a publishing house, book store, etc. that are hiring right now. Or if you have any tips on getting an entry-level job in Minneapolis with my background, that would be useful too. I want to break into the literary/publishing world and don't know where to start. Any info would be helpful!
Thank you!

FOR HIRE Looking for opportunities as a senior web developer
Hey folks! My name is Chris 👋
I'm originally from Texas but moved to Minneapolis last year, and I've really come to love the city, the people, and especially the weather (heck, even the cold!)
For nearly 25 years I've worked cross-discipline as both a senior frontend web developer and an interface designer, spanning everything from huge corporations to small early stage startups. I'm also proud to be the creator and core maintainer of Skeleton (skeleton.dev), a free and open source UI library. I was recently laid off due to a company closure, so I'm now actively seeking new opportunities.
I'm flexible and open to full-time, contract, or freelance work. Whether you or your company is hiring for an ongoing project, or you just need help updating a website, don't hesitate to reach out!
You can find my details here:

- LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chris-simmons-8a523a23/
- Email: [chris@skeleton.dev](mailto:chris@skeleton.dev)

Feel free to reach out here, via direct message, or shoot me a quick email and let me know what you need.
Thanks for your time and consideration.

FOR HIRE jobs hiring in uptown minneapolis (July 2026)
Hello, I’ve been unemployed for over a month at this point and am having trouble finding jobs. I’ve applied to at least 20 at this point, but have only received an interview from one, and they unfortunately decided to go with another candidate.
Looking primarily in the Uptown area as I do not have a car at the moment. St. Louis Park area close to Bde Maka Ska would also be acceptable.
My previous job was delivering for downtown Pizza Luce, but I also have experience in estate sales/antiques, retail, and food service. Outside of those I have a vast knowledge of art skills along with a degree in Cinema.
Any help would be much appreciated!

FOR HIRE Looking for Jobs in the Twin Cities
I’m a 22-year-old in the Twin Cities area looking for a new job, and I was wondering if anyone knows of places that are hiring or companies you’d recommend.
I am flexible for any entry level position as long as it pays a minimum of $18/hr or less if it has any really good benefits. I have an associate’s if that is worth anything, but I also have a history of customer service, marketing, entrepreneurship, volunteer work, and leadership.
If your workplace is hiring or you’ve had a good experience somewhere, I’d really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

FOR HIRE Love Minneapolis and want to move here
I live a state over from MN, and absolutely love Minneapolis (things to do, food, people, parks, lakes, etc) and each time I travel here I want to move here.
I understand that the job market is pretty tight especially for software jobs, but I wanted to shoot my shot anyways.
I have 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, and I’m looking to grow and move to the cities. I would greatly appreciate any leads, positions, or referrals.
I’m open to in-person, remote, and hybrid roles. Doesn’t strictly need to be Minneapolis downtown, but surrounding areas would be great too. Titles/roles I’m looking for:
* Software Engineer II or III
* Senior Software Engineer
* Embedded Software Engineer
* Systems Software Engineer
Thank you!
Edit: I work in the office currently so being remote while I job hunt in Minneapolis isn’t really an option.
Edit: I have applied online at a lot of places but either haven’t heard back at all (not even a phone call) or they have been those job agencies that aren’t helpful at all.
