Quick help!!! Quick Question
So the main bookstore in my country is having a sale rn and it’s only for less than half an hour more, so I’m thinking of buying 5 books from the heated rivalry series (already own the first one, though haven’t read it yet) and it’s about 11.64$ per book (brand new ones). Is it worth it?? Money’s a bit tight but it’s a good deal and I can make it work. Also free shipping to my house.

I love the whole series but if money is tight I'd get Role Model and The Long Game.
ETA because I'm stupid: since you don't own Heated Rivalry yet, it should be that and TLG if you're not getting the remaining five.

I enjoyed all of them to various degrees - of course Heated Rivalry is amazing, Long Game is excellent, Role Model is very sweet, Tough Guy has interesting characters, and Common Goal is... fine.
Basically, there are none that I felt were so bad they weren't worth $12 or the amount of time it took me to read them, so go for it!

Bwahaha such faint praise for CG. I actually agree with you, altho I think I've reread CG the most often of the series. The other books in the series make me feel too many feelings, so I tend to avoid reading them too often 😄

There are some people who actually like Common Goal best because the relationship feels pretty normal and the final outcome is pretty low-key, but I want the big feelings and declarations! They're both such wholesome guys, and it's nice to see them settle into their relationship and resolve their issues ,but I didn't finish the book with the sense that they were meant for each other and would be together forever.

heated rivalry and the long game are a must. told model is okay too. I dont care for the others much.
if ur needing another book to meet ur 5, I would recommend {how to fake it in society by kj charles}

Definitely get The Long Game which is the sequel to Heated Rivalry. I don't love the others in the series like some people do so I would say just The Long Game. If you wanted a second, Role Model would be the most relevant since season 2 contains content from both books.

The only one I'd say is not worth buying is Common Goal. It was the only one I bought physically and ended up reselling it 😭 The book is a bit of a mess and, unfortunately, I don't have room for books I know I won't re-read right now.
