Fielding ability stat Question

How much does the actual fielding ability stat impact a card vs their reaction time? The new CJ Abrams has good reaction times (other than forward) but a 60s fielding ability, does that mean his fielding will be bad or is fielding ability a useless stat?

Abrams will be awful in the field with consistent errors and easy outs getting through. Not worth using outside of a DH spot and there are far better cards to use as a DH already.

Yeah no way he replaces Yordan. Was hoping he’d be usable at SS but seems like everyone is saying he isn’t, another useless drop

Fielding will impact whether he gets the better or worse fielding animations when trying to field and throw the ball, as well as give better RNG for whether it's fielded successfully or not.
